We understand your frustration with the ROI, but all services were fulfilled as described. Regarding support tickets: We sincerely apologize if you felt ignored. We have responded to your tickets and are committed to resolving any outstanding concerns. If you did not receive our responses, please check your spam folder or reach out to us directly at [email protected]. Regarding spam messages and phone number spoofing: We want to be very clear: CraveBooks does not sell author data to third parties or scammers. We are a platform built by authors for authors, and we keep your information strictly confidential. Additionally, we reviewed your account and could not find your phone number listed with us at all. This means we would have no way to bombard you with spam messages or sell your phone number to anyone. Phone number spoofing is unfortunately a widespread issue on the internet and is not connected to CraveBooks or any of our partner sites. The timing may feel coincidental, but spam surges can occur after any public-facing activity, such as running promotions, updating links, or appearing on deal pages. Scammers often scrape publicly available information and send AI-generated outreach. While we understand how distressing this is, it did not originate from us. Regarding refunds: Since all promotions were delivered as purchased, we are unable to issue a refund. However, we are open to discussing alternative solutions to address your concerns. We genuinely value your feedback and want to ensure you have a positive experience. If you'd like to discuss this further, please reach out to us directly.

Thanks for taking the time to leave this review. We are genuinely sorry the E-reader Girl promo didn’t deliver the ROI you expected, and we understand why you’d be frustrated. A few important points for clarity: We do not sell or rent author data. CraveBooks does not sell email addresses or booking details to third parties. Spam spikes can happen after any public-facing activity. When an author runs a promo, updates links, or appears on deal pages and newsletters, scammers often scrape publicly available information and then send AI-generated outreach. It is unfortunately common in this industry, but it is not something we participate in or endorse. That said, your feedback on site presentation and genre mix is fair to raise. We are actively working on improving the reader experience, including tighter quality controls and clearer genre separation so authors can better match the right audience. If you’re open to it, we’d like to look into your specific booking and the timing of the spam increase to see if we can identify any likely source. Please reach out to our support team with: the email used for the booking the promo date your book title a couple examples of the spam senders/domains We’ll review it, and we’ll also see what we can do to make this right on the promo side. Again, we are sorry this was your experience, and we appreciate you flagging it.

Hi Berry, Thank you for sharing your experience with the giveaway for "Seeking the Light of Justice." I understand your frustration and disappointment in not seeing immediate sales or reviews following the giveaway, despite the significant number of books distributed. I'd like to clarify that for the giveaway you participated in, books were only distributed to 3 winners chosen from a large pool of readers. This aligns with our standard practice for most giveaways. However, in your case, you were part of our special $5 ginormous giveaway event, which, as an exception, aimed to significantly increase author exposure by promising 200 emails but ultimately delivered 1200+ emails to participants. It's important to note that these readers voluntarily opted into authors' newsletters, suggesting an interest in the genre or book. However, engagement beyond that, such as sales or reviews, relies on the readers' continued interest and is not guaranteed through the giveaway alone. The purpose of these promotions is to get the email addresses of the readers who sign up. This helps you build your newsletter list, which allows you stay connected to the readers. Readers sign up for a chance to win a Kindle and the ebooks of the participating authors. There is one grand prize winner who gets all of that and 2 winners who receive all the ebooks. So with each List Builder, only 3 readers are getting copies of the ebooks. If you are looking to increase sales and reviews, our Daily Deal promotions can help with that. We want to support your promotion efforts. Please let us know if you have any further questions. We shall reach out to you through email to understand your issues more deeply. Best Regards CraveBooks Team
