About CPD Carnet
Boomerang carnets® is the exclusive issuing authority for Carnet de Passages en Douane, the “Vehicle Passport” in the U.S. and Canada. The CPD is an international customs document for the temporary admission of motor vehicles (private and commercial road motor vehicles) in countries where required. It serves as a customs declaration identifying the vehicle to be imported and constitutes an international guarantee for Customs of the payment of import duties and taxes chargeable should the vehicles not be re-exported.
