Horrible experience and customer service that took foreverrr!!! I ordered basic prescription glasses that I returned and wanted to exchange for prescription sunglasses. Easy right!? Wrong!!!!! They sent me sunglasses with clear prescription lenses!!! Morons!!! Said it was my fault and that I needed to pay for the return as well as new lenses for “sunglasses” to be made!!! Unreal how stupid and unprofessional they are!!! This whole process took 3 months of my time and extra money for a very unimpressive pair of Ralph Lauren sunglasses that are too big and will need major adjusting... Never Again!!!’ Go somewhere else for your eyewear needs!!! Wish I’d read reviews first....

Doesn't say anything about if u up load prescription it will cost more. Than u ask for money back and they take money off what u paid. Worst online place for glasses

Do not purchase from this company. They do not honor their exchange policy but instead opt to charge for restocking. Never again!!!

I just received my second order from CoolFrames.com, and am very pleased with the product, great service, and great prices compared with my local optician. Both orders were for designer Silhouette frames with top of the line Varilux lenses. One order was for me and one was for my wife. In both cases, we were able to get exactly the frames we wanted, and the total price was around 20% less than the local optician. Delivery times were around 3.5 weeks from order date, which isn't bad considering the frames are imported. CoolFrames gave us timely status updates when the frames were ordered, when the lenses were ordered, and when the glasses were shipped. They were also timely in answering my questions via email. Couldn't be happier with the whole experience!

This is literally the worst glasses company I have ever dealt with. I ordered a pair of prescription glasses and after 2 weeks they finally tell me the color had been discontinued. But here's the thing, they state your order should arrive between 5-10 business days. These guys hadn't even ordered the lenses yet! So, after talking with them, they say if i keep the order and get a different color of frames they will expedite everything, so I agree. After another 2 weeks I enquire about the order and when it should arrive. This time they ignore me. I wait another week and contact them again stating if they don't respond I'm going to dispute the charge with my credit card company. Still no response, so again I try to contact them saying provide me with a shipping date within 48 hours or I'll dispute the charge. They still ignore me, so I file the claim. After another week, I'm guessing visa or who ever contacted them about the claim, they finally respond with your glasses were lost in the mail. Finally, on the 10th day after filing the claim, the day before the charges get reversed, all of the sudden they can now overnight the glasses to me! Get this, with the condition all I have to do is stop the charge back! Such B.S., such a bad experience, such a huge scam. There are literally a million other companies you can order glasses from that aren't a scam with better prices. These guys are the absolute worse!

I ordered a pair of prescription glasses on June 16th, on July 6th I was told that the lenses didn't pass inspection and would have to be re-made after I had Emailed asking what the status was. On August 4th I finally received my new glasses. I tried them on and immediately noticed the prescription was off as they were very disorienting. I Emailed customer service and immediately got a response back saying that they had checked with there lab and the prescription was fine. This is obviously not the case as I have 2 pairs of sunglasses with the same prescription that I had sent in. I questioned them on why my new glasses are any different than the 2 sets I already have but the Email has been ignored. Cool Frames is hardly any cheaper than buying anywhere local, they don't stand behind their products and took over 6 weeks to get me glasses with the wrong lenses that they won't change. Go buy somewhere else

I'm extremely happy with the glasses I ordered. They are excellent quality and the price was very competitive. My experience of dealing with the Cool Frames team was also first rate: from the live chat conversation that helped me place the order, to the after sales team who handled all my queries efficiently. I would definitely re-order from Cool Frames, and I suggest you give them a try!

Recently bought glasses through coolframes.com and overall had a good experience. Just be aware that the lowest price on the web does come with a wait time. I freaked out after reading bad reviews and tried to cancel my order. Ended up going through with the order and received the sunglasses that I wanted. Despite the wait time the customer service is top notch and on top of everything. They had the best price on the web by $20 which was already a discount of $40 from retail. Would I order again? Yes. Would I recommend? Yes.
