Cleared to DriveReviews of clearedtodrive.com

I self certified during the pandemic. However, I forgot to get my vision test done until NYSDMV sent me a reminder that I needed a vision test or my license would be suspended. I definitely did not want that. But I hate going to the DMV because it is never a pleasant experience. I remembered hearing about Cleared to Drive during the pandemic but I must admit I thought it was too good to be true and that it was a scam! But then I saw that Cleared to Drive is listed as one of the many NYSDMV vision test locations. I got on the Cleared to Drive website made my vision test appointment and the rest is history! They have a lot of available time slots. Once i booked my appointment they sent me a link and a reminder the day of my appointment so i could take my test. I was connected to a representative (who verified my info) and then connected to Nancy (Optician). Both were kind, respectful and very professional. The vision test was quick and stress less. Once I passed my vision test another screen popped up and I entered my payment information ($49) for the vision test. Then the screen let me know my payment was accepted and that’s it. Then I was sent an email stating that I passed and letting me know what was next and in my case I was all set. I will be recommending Cleared to Drive to all my friends and family! Thank you for the wonderful experience!

I have renewed my driver license immediately. I took the vision test virtually and everything was very profesional and rapid. After I passed the test, they sent me an email with a link that took me directly to DMV website and I had just to pay the fee and fill up my identification info.

I’m someone who is on the go quite a bit. I wasn't around home and needed an eye test for my license renewal. Process was quick and easy, you just read from your phone. Then they send the info over to DMV and you’re able to renew online & it was around $50. No extra trips. 100% recommended. This was for a NYS license.

Cleared to drive was great! My results were uploaded to the DMV right away and I was able to renew my license very easily. The people were fantastic to work with as well!

Excellent service. Excellent staff. Very impressed.

Great experience. The test took a few minutes and my results were uploaded to DMV instantly enabling me to renew my license online right away. Completing an eye exam and renewing my license without leaving my living room was pretty cool

I was recommended to try out “Cleared to Drive” and let me tell you I am happy that I did. The process was not long, less then 10 minutes and was easy to manage. I was assisted by Ms. Nancy and she was wonderful and nice. Advise others to use this service, sure beats going in person or setting an appointment elsewhere. Also price is affordable in my opinion and results were sent over to the DMV office fast with no issues!

Smooth and easy process! Excellent service!
