I recently bought a shirt that shrunk quite a bit, and I returned it. They took it back without question, and I got a bigger size, knowing it would shrink. The staff is always helpful and they have great sales.

Chico's sent me an email with an offer for "$50 off $100+". When I tried to redeem this offer, it came up as invalid. I tried reaching out to the customer service chat. The agent I spoke with told me "We never send out an offer like that" despite the fact that an email with that offer was in my inbox. She offered absolutely no way to resolve the situation. I tried calling the customer service line. My first call was cut off after 5 minutes on hold with no opportunity to speak to a representative. I sent an email to the customer service address trying to explain the situation. I called the number a second time and spoke to an agent who again told me "We have no record of sending you that offer." and again offered no resolution for solving the problem. He did provide me with an second email to send screen shots of my offer email to in order to see if they could help. I never received a reply from EITHER of these emails. I started commenting on Facebook posts to see if this would get anyone's attention. After waiting several days with the first post being ignored, I commented on a second post. It took at least a day to get a reply to that post to please private message them to see if there was a potential resolution. When I did, the reply led with the statement that they had replied to both of my emails and I must have missed the response. I have searched my inbox and spam fold every day since the incident started and no replies came up. Multiple other opportunities to spend money with Chico's arrived, but not replies to my request for help. Somewhere in this process, I received a promotional text with the same "$50 off $100+"...(the offer that they never sent me). The Facebook message also claims that they have "put notes on my account" so that I can now redeem the offer that they claimed they never sent me and took over a week to reply with any kind of contact. In the meantime, the item I most wanted to purchase sold out in my size, and the other items that I looked at to reach the spend threshold have increased significantly in price. I've also come here and seen the reviews left by several others. It appears that I may have dodged a sketchy situation by not being able to place this order. I'm now adding my voice to the course of those suggesting you proceed with EXTREME caution before ordering directly from this company. I had been a fairly loyal customer for some time, but simply can't trust trying to do that at this point.

I see Chico’s going downhill. Prices going up and quality going down. Recently I had some issues and I can honestly say they have the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I have absolutely loved Chico garments for many years. I have worn some until they had holes in them. I found the quality superior. This time, I bought a summer cardigan. The website gave me a 20% discount but when I went to check out it asked for the discount again. When I put it in it wouldn't let me check out. I ultimately got my money back. The real issue is that the quality of the cardigan was absolutely horrible. It is made of a cheesy synthetic fabric and actually itches. It came looking faded. What happened Chico's?????

I have been a Chicos' customer for years - and wear a lot of their clothes. However, my recent experience has shed a dark light on customer service. After not receiving credit back on my gift card used when returning an item, I called the store. They referred me to Corporate Customer Service. It was obviously an international call that took over an hour! At my request, I finally asked the agent to refer me to his supervisor/manager. What I then received was an email. My credit for the return will be mailed on a gift card in 2 to 3 WEEKS. I specifically requested that the refund be added to my current card, rather than send a separate gift card WEEKS away - and risking theft for a gift card sent in USPS mail. For a company to use an international customer service is a slap in the face to their customers. This will NOT help their business, including from my own choice whether to continue buying from Chico's.

Recently returned a pair of pants to Chicos on March 23. Just received credit on May 13. The quality of clothing has drastically changed. No more shopping at Chicos. Clothes made in China and Vietnam.

Entered store in Columbus Ga, literally had older saleswoman brush past me as she was stocking items, no excuse me or anything. Not asked if i wanted a room started and had to ask for one. Never checked on while in dressing room. They noticed me leaving and asked if I hadnt found anything. I told them I would have asked for another size but no one every asked. All three huffed like I was rude. Your store was rude. How far they have fallen.
