Completely Ghosted
I was given a sharpener from my gf for Christmas. Upon opening the package, I realized that it was missing one of the rubber feet. I submitted a support request on January 16th, 2021. Jan 28th I sent another email asking for an update. And another Feb 8th. And then another on Feb 26, which sent me an automatic response back with a NEW support case number, meaning they just closed out my initial one without ever reaching out to me. That was 8 days ago, and I still haven't heard anything. Calling the support number leads to me being placed on hold for 10 minutes, then the automated phone system says "No one is available at this time, goodbye." And then hangs up the call. This whole experienced has completely turned me off from Chef's Choice and I will likely avoid purchasing from them in the future. I've never even used the sharpener because it's too unstable to pull a knife through. EDIT: THEY FINALLY GOT BACK TO ME! It took them one day shy of two months to respond. Very frustrating, but they have no issue with supplying a rubber foot at no additional cost. I'll add one star for being helpful and offering to get the replacement part to me.
