Gail ~ I am really sorry to hear about your experience with our N. Church Street store. This is really not the way that we handle our business. I did reach out to our Account Executive to find out what happened on our end. I was able to determine that our Account Executive was trying to schedule a time that both she and our installation manger could come out together, because she understood that there were multiple layers of flooring at your home that would need to be examined. In cases like this, we do prefer that our Installation & Customer Service manager accompany our Account Executives to the home, as he can help evaluate what we can and can not do. I believe that our Account Executive tried to reach back out to you but had been unable to catch back up with you. I am very sorry to hear about your wife's condition and can certainly understand the urgency of getting a new floor down. Garren ~ Thank you for working with us to resolve the water damage you experienced. Providing a great customer experience is very important to us, and we are sorry that your recent experience did not meet that standard. In researching your review, I see where we came out 2 years ago and put down the original laminate floor in your home, which I am assuming you were pleased with. Recently, we were called in by an insurance adjuster to replace the floor due to the water damage you incurred. Our Account Executive came out to your home for the initial estimate and was unable to measure because the plumber had not yet been out to fix the actual leak. I am sorry if that visit inconvenienced you in any way, however the second visit we made was necessary to get accurate flooring measurements. Due to unforeseen circumstances, our installer had to take up more of the existing floor than we had previously noted. As I understand it, you and the insurance adjuster were informed of the minimal additional charge that would be incurred prior to us doing the work to be certain your insurance would cover the costs, which they did. Again, we appreciate the chance to work with you to resolve the situation, and remain available if you have any further questions or concerns.
