Annuities are a great financial tool but they can be complex and confusing. The Canvas Annuity was created to bring simplicity to the annuity marketplace with a simple product design that includes a great rate and many consumer friendly features. Welcome to the Canvas family Mark!
As a recently retired person, I've been purchasing MYGAs (multi-year guaranteed annuities) over the past year or so. I've bought from several places, but out of all of them I found Canvas not only to have the best rates (by cutting out the broker), but to also have the easiest process, hands down. I'm done purchasing annuities for the time being but if I do decide to put more into MYGAs I'll shop Canvas first.

Jim, we appreciate your review. Thank you for choosing Canvas!
The rates from Canvas are about the best I have found anywhere. The website was very informational and answered most questions up front. Only issue I had was that it appears the chat function is not monitored. I got no response after a day and a half of trying. The phone system is often backed up and I never received a callback. However, I just kept calling until I was able to reach a live person. I expect to be satisfied with my Canvas annuity investment.
