The studio exec was thorough, knowledgable and offered both constructive criticism about the format, content and commented about the visual impact, viability, filmability, marketability et al of the script in preparation of the next step.

As an active member of the CSM mentorship program, I can easily say that this is the best program for aspiring screenwriters that I have ever been a part of. The guidance, feedback, and communication truly have been second to none and absolutely invaluable for me to grow as a writer. My mentor (Remi Williams) has provided me with detailed and thoughtful feedback every single time I have submitted sections of my work, which has made my script cleaner and much closer to industry standards in a condensed period of time. My advice, if you are selected into the CSM mentorship program, seize the opportunity, and give yourself the greatest chance for success as a screenwriter!

Your commitment to the work and willingness to engage with the process are a big part of that progress. Super impressed with every aspect of Call Sheet Media's process. The feedback from my mentor was on point, detailed, and extremely helpful. When I finally submitted my project, I got 156 pages of notes. It was obvious they invested a huge amount of time and talent — they made it a better script. This has been an invaluable experience, and the project is still moving forward. I am very grateful that I trusted my instincts and said yes to the program.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share this. We are especially glad to hear that the depth of the feedback made a meaningful difference for you. Our goal is always to provide notes that are honest, specific, and actionable, not surface-level commentary. When a writer receives 156 pages of detailed insight, it reflects the level of care and rigor we strive to bring to every project. It means a great deal that you felt supported throughout the process and that your script is continuing to move forward. Ultimately, the credit belongs to you for doing the hard work of rewriting and pushing the material to a stronger place. We are grateful you trusted your instincts and joined the program, and we are excited to see where your project goes next.
I was taught to write screenplays by Emmy Award Winner Lee Levinson in the year 2000. Be very sure your (mentor) has experience writing the genre you work in. I have written sci-fi action adventure for 45 years. 99 Screenplays in the last 25 years of my own and dozens for famous clients including action stars Ron Van Clief, (Hanged Man,) Mark Dacascos (Legend) and Jackie Chan (Double Strike.) CSM assigned a female rapper to (mentor me). ZERO sci-fi experience. Thomas Haldeman spoke rudely once I mentioned that I was confused about their (program and what it involved.) ASK questions -do not sign blindly. The odds of EVER selling a screenplay are a million to one. Unless you are related to or sleeping with someone who has money or is in show BIZ. Hollywood has had an AGE discrimination clause in all major contracts for decades. If you are age 40 or close to that, they will NOT buy your work or hire you. They think you are TOO OLD to relate to younger fans. I was a touring rock musician for 20 years then retired due to a spinal cord injury in 2000 to write over 110 screenplays/13 novels/7 series. BUY Final Draft software and TEACH yourself how to use it. 25 years as a pro ghostwriter. There are ZERO shortcuts besides hands on experience. Look up class action age discrimination lawsuits in Hollywood. There are several articles about the subject. Educate yourself. Leftist creeps ruined the music, film and literary markets forever. Want to see your movie on ANY screen? Buy the book 'How to produce an Indie film for 3000 dollars or less. Buy a camera and get started. I did that in 2007 and shot my first bully awareness movie Bully Girls. There are 2 distributors that seem legit. Research to find those. CSM quit OUR deal a week ago because I asked too many questions. Now they are threatening me with a lawsuit for talking about my personal experience with CSM. I didn't send my material because I didn't need coverage or a screenwriting course. There Rapper mentor was not qualified to help me with a sci-fi series. Protect yourself and your hard work.

Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective. After reviewing our records, we have no record of any interaction, enrollment, or agreement with you under the name provided. Additionally, Call Sheet Media does not have any female rappers, or any rappers at all, on our production team or within our mentor roster. Because we cannot identify you in our system, we are unable to address the specific claims in your review. However, we take our reputation seriously and maintain detailed documentation of all client communications and agreements. Our mentors are selected based on their professional experience and alignment with the specific needs of each project. We respect every writer’s right to share their experiences and viewpoints. At the same time, accuracy matters, and we encourage anyone with concerns to contact us directly so we can review the matter transparently. Whoever you are, we wish you the very best in your continued creative career.
From the opening assignment I was learning and learning well, while being challenged and instructed by the professor from the university. I learned how to format my script and how to make it far better with each lesson. It was a delight to experience the challenge of not being able to get inside my character's head but instead use visuals and action to tell the story. It was a delightful and hard challenge which paid off. Thank you, Call Sheet Media, for giving me this opportunity. It was invaluable. I am a better writer because of you and the fact you accepted me into your program. Thank you so much. I've now completed the course. You are wonderful!

Thank you so much for taking the time to share this. It truly means a great deal to us. We are proud of the work you put into the program and the growth you describe. Learning to externalize character through action and visual storytelling is one of the hardest transitions for writers, and your willingness to embrace that challenge is what makes the progress real and lasting. The discipline, effort, and openness you brought to each assignment are what ultimately made the experience successful. We are grateful you trusted Call Sheet Media with your development and honored to have been part of your journey. Congratulations on completing the course, and we look forward to seeing how you continue to apply these skills to your writing going forward. Wishing you continued success and momentum.
The experience with Call Sheet Media has been great! The Coursera Screenwriting course at MSU has been extremely valuable. I also appreciate the feedback I have received from my Mentor. I am a much better screenwriter today and have learned so much in a short amount of time. I highly recommend Call Sheet Media to screenwriters looking to get their foot in the door.

I am very new to the industry and still learning how exactly to get my work seen by decision makers. I had the good fortune of being accepted into their mentor program and received access to an educational resource as well as the opportunity to have calls with multiple individuals discussing my work. I have received 2 sets of coverage on my pilot (Dixie Dynamite) that were incredibly extensive, insightful and best of all helped me craft a much better script. Selling my pilot may still be as likely as winning the lottery but I have learned so much in this process and it has given me confidence, actionable feedback and best of all HOPE!
