I called Mike out of the blue one evening, after shopping intensely for the best interest rate we could comfortably afford for a SFH purchase. He was very receptive to helping me, and he listened to what we were looking for. My main issue with speaking to other lenders/loan officers was the BS they would insert into the conversation as to why I should go with them - basically the long used car salesman pitch. I got none of that from Mike. He was concise and straight to the point with exactly what we would be getting from Cal Loans Direct and the Lender, given our circumstances. They offered us the lowest rates we could find, but what really won me over was the transparency and openness we got from Mike and his team. He was very responsive via phone/text/email, answering questions throughout the process. We closed ahead of schedule and without a hitch.
