SBR bag not heat resistant and not worth $395.00
I purchased this short-barreled rifle case for $395 based on advertising that described two Kevlar pads designed to absorb heat from a suppressor after firing multiple rounds. I chose the tan case for my flat dark earth (FDE) .300 Blackout rifle. After placing the rifle in the case with the suppressor still hot from firing, I found significant burn marks on the Kevlar lining. That experience raises serious questions about the case’s ability to withstand suppressor heat as advertised. I also own a suppressed 5.56 rifle and planned to buy a second $395 case in black to distinguish the two firearms and avoid ammunition mix-ups. Before ordering, I emailed the company to ask whether the case was rated to accommodate a hot suppressor. I have received no response. At this price, I expected the case to perform as advertised and the company to answer a straightforward question about its heat rating. Based on the burn marks and the lack of a response, I cannot recommend this case for holding a hot suppressor.
