Burchda EbikeReviews of burchda-ebike.com

Do not interact with this company, totally unreliable. Will not ship to Norway because we are not in the EU, and then claims FedEx and UPS do not deliver to Norway, which they absolutely do!

Bait and Switch — Order confirmed, inferior product proposed I ordered the OTIDA X2 3000W Dual Battery (52V 60AH) on May 6, 2026 (Order #OTD1052). The order confirmation from OTIDA clearly specified the dual-battery configuration, with delivery to Italy. Payment of EUR 1,459.16 was processed immediately via American Express. Two days later, I received an email from Burchda stating that "at the same price, we can only ship you the single-battery version" — citing my European location as justification. This is factually incorrect and commercially dishonest. Their own documentation confirms they operate European distribution capacity and that the dual-battery configuration is logistically deliverable to Italy. The real issue is an internal pricing discrepancy of their own making, which they are attempting to resolve at the customer's expense after payment has been accepted. This is a textbook Bait and Switch. I have initiated a formal fraud dispute with American Express and notified European consumer protection authorities. I am still awaiting either fulfillment of the original order or a full refund of EUR 1,459.16 — the exact amount charged, including unauthorized currency conversion fees.
