Great products!
I like using this website to purchase some melt and pour soap bases because they seem like they are very good quality and for a much cheaper price then what we found anywhere else.

It’s been over 10 days and my order is still held up at the post office

Response from Bulk Apothecary· Oct 15, 2026
Thank you for your feedback, Leonard. We're sorry the delivery took longer than expected. We reviewed your order and confirmed that it was placed on October 1 and shipped the very next day using USPS, which was the shipping service selected at checkout. Once the package was accepted by USPS, the remaining delay occurred within their network. We're glad to see that tracking now shows your package was delivered yesterday, and we truly hope you enjoy the Burberry Hero-inspired fragrance oil you ordered. We appreciate your business and hope the product was worth the wait. -The Bulk Apothecary Team
Shipping and ordering were great. The product itself is terrible. I am so extremely disappointed in this product. The essential oil I purchased barely has any scent at all. It’s advertised as a dupe to tom ford leather and for what little scent it has I can only compare to the smell of a potpourri and sneaker store in the mall (albeit leather sneakers). Really disappointed.

Thank you for your feedback, Meghan. We're very sorry to hear the fragrance did not meet your expectations, especially when you were hoping for something closer to the Tom Ford Leather profile. Fragrance perception can vary quite a bit from person to person, but we understand your concern about the strength as well as the character of the scent you received. That's certainly disappointing when a fragrance doesn't perform the way you anticipated. We appreciate you taking the time to share such specific feedback, and we'll be passing your comments along to our product team for review. -The Bulk Apothecary Team
I just happened upon this site with a basic search. I was extremely happy with the customer service and the quality of the items I purchased.

NEVER buy from these CROOKS! I bought 15 oils 0.5 oz and the average price was around $3-4 but after all their fees and then import fees my total bill came to just over $200! That is about $146 in FEES!!!! This is major price gouging and very dishonest. I was a long time buyer and after paying $90 in import fees on tiny bottles I refuse to ever support them again. I was loyal for YEARS because I was getting a good deal and now I'm getting ripped off and price gouged. NEVER AGAIN!

Thank you for your feedback and for being a longtime customer. We're sorry to hear how frustrating the total cost of this order was, especially after purchasing from us for years. We do want to clarify that import duties, taxes, customs charges, and carrier brokerage fees are not fees charged or retained by Bulk Apothecary. These charges are assessed separately by the destination country and/or the shipping carrier when an international shipment enters the country, and unfortunately we do not control the amounts they assess. We completely understand that these additional charges can make a relatively small order significantly more expensive by the time it reaches you, and we understand why that would be upsetting. However, we would never intentionally hide additional Bulk Apothecary fees or inflate the price of an order after checkout. We sincerely appreciate the many years you supported Bulk Apothecary, and we're sorry that the international shipping and import costs surrounding this order have left you with such a negative experience. -The Bulk Apothecary Team
No items ever arrived to my house. This is not the start. I need when I’m doing a new business and would’ve been ordering multiple times from this company now I’ll look to shop elsewhere.

Thank you for your feedback, Thomas. We're very sorry for the frustration this delay has caused, especially when you're trying to get a new business up and running. We reviewed your order and wanted to clarify the timeline. Your order was placed on Wednesday, September 23, and we shipped it promptly the following day, September 24, using USPS, which was the shipping service selected at checkout. Tracking shows USPS accepted the package September 24, it moved through the Akron distribution center on September 25, and most recently arrived at a New Hampshire distribution center on September 29. The package is still showing as in transit. We completely understand how disappointing it is to be waiting this long, and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience it has caused. Unfortunately, the delay occurred after the package was handed over to USPS and has been within their network. We do our best to get orders out quickly, and in this case we shipped your order within 24 hours. We appreciate that you gave Bulk Apothecary a try and sincerely hope USPS completes the delivery soon. -The Bulk Apothecary Team

Hi Rockiea, We’re sorry the Batana Oil you received wasn’t what you expected. We do want to clarify an important point about our product, particularly regarding the concern that it is fake or contains castor oil. Our Batana Oil is sourced from Brazil and is unrefined. It is derived from the American palm, Elaeis oleifera, and does not contain added castor oil. The appearance and aroma are different from the dark brown Batana Oil that has become popular on social media because that product is traditionally associated with Honduras and a processing method that includes roasting the palm material. That roasting process is largely responsible for the very dark brown color, thick texture, and strong smoky or burnt-coffee aroma people often expect from Batana Oil. Our Brazilian Batana Oil is processed without roasting, resulting in a lighter amber to brown appearance and a different natural aroma and consistency. Elaeis oleifera is native to both Central and South America, and Batana Oil can vary considerably depending on its geographic origin and processing method. We understand why receiving something that looks and smells different from what you expected would be concerning, and we’re working to make these differences much clearer on our website so customers know exactly what they’re purchasing before ordering. We appreciate you bringing your concerns to our attention. -The Bulk Apothecary Team
