When you are informed that the payment could not be processed, it would be helpful if you had informed me which card was the problem. I assumed it had expired, since all my accounts are active but I wondered which card it was.

Had a issue getting a answer to why a policy did not show on profile, the AI chat just provided me with the same answer. To wait, the policy was already issued. One of my policies was increased 8.5% for tax (replacement value) but another one was not. I wanted to know why. AI could never give me an answer.

Hi Michelle, Thank you for the detailed feedback. We're sorry you had difficulty getting clear answers about your policy and the difference in pricing, especially when the AI chat wasn't able to address your questions. We understand how frustrating that can be and appreciate you bringing this to our attention. The BriteCo Team
I wasn't informed that Event Cancellation insurance had to be purchased 30 days or more before the event.

Hi Gary, we’re sorry for any confusion regarding the timing requirements for Event Cancellation coverage. The policy terms outline the eligibility and purchase requirements, including the required timeframe prior to the event. It was easy to apply, but the website made the process sound a lot more simplistic than it was. I was insuring a watch, and all it said I needed to provide was a photo of the watch and an original sales receipt, so that's what I provided. About a week later, I received several confusing emails stating that additional action was required, but not stating exactly what was needed. I reached out to customer service and in the reply I received several days later, they said I needed to submit an appraisal...something that was never mentioned in the application process. I pushed back on this and they then said they just needed documentation with my name to confirm ownership, so even a credit card statement would do. I then submitted a credit card sales slip with my name on it, and that was sufficient to finalize my coverage. I wish they would have just stated at the beginning that they just needed a document with my name on it. That would have saved a lot of confusion, stress, and back and forth communication.

Omer, Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re sorry the documentation requirements were not clearly communicated from the beginning and that our follow up emails added to the confusion. We understand how frustrating it must have been to receive different instructions and wait several days for clarification. We appreciate your patience while we worked to confirm ownership and finalize your coverage. Your feedback highlights an opportunity for us to make our application requirements and communications clearer, and we will share it with our team. Cheers, BriteCo
I didn't like the fact that I did not receive the invoice as to what the amount would be before you automatically took it out of my credit card. I would of likes to of used a different credit card other than the one I used last time. Sharon

Hi Sharon, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We understand wanting to know the renewal amount ahead of time and having the option to choose which card is charged. As a reminder, we send an email 60 days in advance of your renewal to provide advance notice. You can also update your payment method at any time through your BriteCo customer portal, so you’re able to select a different credit card before your next renewal. We appreciate you being a BriteCo customer and hope this helps clarify the process! Cheers, The BriteCo Team
I have not had any interactions with the company, besides paying a yearly premium for insurance to safe guard my jewelry and your company automatically takes that payments out of my payment source I provided. So I guess that's a convenience. So I rated it down the middle and consider yourself fully successful. Sincerely Rose Arndt
