the alternates were fine, but suggest they keep more stock or update website. at the very least substitute for higher priced items.

I wouldn't recommend this service at all. I ordered a bottle of vodka and it arrived 2 days later. I needed the alcohol that night because I had friends over. We waited and waited. No email letting me know when it would arrive. When I placed the order the website read it would be delivered same day. I placed a complaint and customer service did nothing about it.

Lucy, Very sorry about this. Upon reviewing your order, it seems the order was placed on a Sunday, after the liquor store had closed for the evening(NY State liquor laws prohibit the sale of wine/liquor after 9 pm on Sundays). Regardless, our customer service staff should have taken care of you and gotten the bottle to you the next day if you still wanted to receive it. Once again, we sincerely apologize for this discrepancy.
I've used BoozeCarriage several times now, and had flawless service all but once. Most of my orders were delivered in about a half an hour, and were always correct. One time I did have an issue, with an order not being delivered within the one hour specified. I emailed support, and the order showed up about 20 minutes later. So, all-in-all, I think they're doing pretty well, and will definitely continue to use their service.

Took my order then called back in 30 mins to tell me they couldn't deliver. Won't try again, sorry.

Hey there, We are so sorry for your poor experience with our service. That sort of thing is completely unacceptable and we hope to make this right by you. If a substitution should happen, customers are always to be contacted and asked whether a substitution is acceptable. Once again, we are very sorry for that.
Great service and great idea. Have run into an issue with inventory not being available after placing an order. Refund was processed quickly - but they should do a better job of managing what is sold online when there's nothing left on the shelves. Will continue to use the service.

Great delivery service. Great website. Wish there was a far greater selection to choose from. A mobile app would be great as well.
