I needed a region-free DVD player to accommodate purchases made in Europe that were not compatible with North American region compliance. Bombay Electronics was able to supply a very inexpensive device for this purpose and shipped it to my home in Canada within days or placing the order. Very prompt, professional, and dependable service.

FedEx shipping was inexplicably delayed by a day and then left on the porch, which I didn't like. However, I am happy with the player and the price; no other company had the older model moded in stock anymore. The Sony blu-ray player with region-free mod works as expected. It plays my region 2 DVDs, and it still streams Netflix, HuluPlus and Amazon, even after their required software updates.
