Beachbody, LLC dba BODiReviews of bodi.com

They are a deceptive company, they said they sent me a renewal notice, I did not receive it, they charged me $179.00 and will not refund, even though I did explain that I'm 73 and have had recent health issues. They did not give a crap, so I am out the money, they are a vain, money hungry company, absolutely horrible. DO NOT BUY THEIR WORK OUT PRODUCTS, SHAKES OR ANYTHING. They are the most money hungry company, if you need bands go to Walmart, their product was as crappy as their customer service. I think they take pride in ripping people off, probably get bonuses for it, a shameful company I wish I could give them ZERO STARS.

Unexpected charges, difficult to get out, terrible online experience the list goes on. Stay away at all costs.

I love beachbody!! ShaunT is amazing and keeps me wanting to workout. He is positive and makes me want to workout. I’ve never had a problem with the customer service. They’ve always been helpful. I guess as a customer if you don’t go into btchy and a sense of entitlement they will be more responsive and helpful like any human being.

Horrible, horrible customer service. They make it impossible to cancel. BODi is a scam.

Man... I've gotta say, Beachbody has fallen all the way off. Is anyone out there still happy with their service? I've been a loyal customer and was a coach for YEARS. I'm talking 10+ and aside from quality products, you always got exemplary customer service. Not anymore! I still use the workouts but decided to grab a jar of Energize a couple of months ago. I don't use it everyday so I figured I'd keep an eye out for the renewal so I could just skip it if I hadn't at least made it halfway through the jar within a month. Except... apparently we no longer receive reminders of a monthly renewal anymore. Who does that? Shady business. So I got charged for another month that I didn't need. Annoying. Whatever. I go into my account to cancel the subscription- guess what page won't load? The cancelation page. Perfect. Get on my laptop. Still won't load. Every other page loads just fine. Not the "manage your subscription" page. I'm pressed for time, of course. Who isn't? So I decided to call them the next day to do it that way. The next day turns into 30 days later of course because I have a life and other responsibilities and hunting down a scam artist isn't on my already packed agenda, unfortunately. So it's 29 days later and I just logged into my bank and just happen to notice that ANOTHER charge literally JUST went through. I hop onto Beachbody AGAIN and try to cancel it and it won't let me without charging me $12 for shipping. Seriously? Also, does anyone else notice that the charges always go through after the close of business so you can't call and dispute them? So here I am, arguing with AI (don't judge me. I was frustrated) and even though it hasn't even been an hour since the order went through,(which ai told me the order could be cancelled if its been under an hour then turned around and said just kidding, I lied) the order is permanent, set in stone and fully irreversible even though enough time hasn't even passed for me to receive a "processed' email and it won't even ship for another few days. So... will I buy anymore products? Nope. I don't deal with companies with no integrity. They sold their integrity when they went public, apparently. Anyone want to buy a bike? I don't think I even want that anymore . I'm done.

Difficulty to cancel an annual subscription due to subversive customer support practices. They always claim they "sent a renewal notice" but this does NOT happen. Then you are STUCK with the charge the day your CC notifies you of a large charge. many previous services/websites no longer available. The quality of types of videos are crap. CanNOT access direct support personnel through a live phone chat, only thru chat feeds. Resolution to anything is USELESS. Template responses are given without personal resolution. On their account webpage, their marketing preferences link is BROKEN. SO, you are STUCK with incessant advertising. Your only path is to seek out resolution from your credit card billing.

DO NOT consider using BODi/Beachbody. I wouldn't give them even one star. They automatically renewed my subscription for $179 plus tax and refused to refund it even though I haven't used the service at all since the renewal and offered to have my access terminated immediately. Their ridiculous solution? They'll refund the $179 if I buy ANOTHER subscription for $119. Reading the reviews, I'm clearly not the only customer frustrated by their automatic renewals and refusal to issue refunds. This is an awful way to treat customers. I will NEVER use BODi/Beachbody again. Before giving this company your credit card information, read the reviews.

Horrible company and an incredibly frustrating auto-renewal policy. BODi needs to reconsider how it handles renewals. I purchased equipment from BODi in 2025 and received a free year of membership. I KNOW I canceled the membership immediately because I had no intention of renewing it. I removed my payment information because I did not want to be charged. Yet BODi charged a credit card I don't even use. I contacted BODi immediately after discovering the charge, only to be told I was beyond the 30-day refund window. This is not simply a customer who forgot to cancel. I canceled. I removed my payment information. I did not intend to renew. I was charged anyway, on a card I don't even use. And the renewal information was sent to an email address I don't use. I can log into BODi using my personal email, but my membership is attached to a completely different email address. When I log into the account associated with that other email, I have to clear cookies and browsing history first. The home screen still shows the other email address—the one that apparently did not receive the renewal information. When so many customers report similar renewal and refund issues, perhaps the problem isn't customers failing to understand the policy. Perhaps the renewal process needs to change. I contacted BODi as soon as I discovered the unexpected charge, yet the response was essentially, “You're outside the 30 days.” No resolution. No empathy. Just the policy. BODi, you have created a renewal process that may work well for the company, but in my experience, it does not work well for the customer. Anyone considering BODi should read the reviews carefully and understand the renewal process before providing payment information. The bottom line: I canceled, removed my payment information, did not intend to renew, and was still charged. When I asked for help, I was told there was nothing they could do. That is an incredibly disappointing way to treat a customer. BODi, you may have my money, but you've completely lost my trust. Customers deserve honesty and clear communication, too!!
