Update: although with some delay but they provided full amount perfectly with higher Bitcoin rate. This is the four the time that I receive “we will keep you informed shortly”. Please do the transfer as soon as possible as this waste of time and blockage of money is illegal. Unfortunately, Crypto account been limited due to sudden decisions of Wavecrest. Wavecrest is almost an illusion in Gibraltar. Some other legal parts make Bitpay directly responsible for compensation. I have to start a legal case against the company the BBB and other entities and asking other customers to join.

Blocks payments from some wallets due to petty politics. Payments take ages to get from them to the merchant. Don't expect to buy something then get it next day, even if you pay extra for next day delivery or before 12 service. Expect no refund for that.

BitPay decided that due to "miner fee" anything below $50/42Eur is theirs for the taking.. not only I had to pay 65euro for the card and I'm not getting a refund they also wanted some extra plunder. Avoid at all costs

Bitpay Support ist extrem schlecht! Ich hab eine Bitcoin-Zahlung rückabgewickelt und warte seit Wochen auf mein Geld! ... Keine Ahnung ob ich das je wieder sehe.....Mehrere Support-Anfragen gingen ins leere oder wurden durch Standard-Sätze beantwortet....keine Lösung und irgendwie haben sie auch nicht wirklich ne Ahnung was sie da tun....Extrem nervig ... ich empfehle euch, andere Anbieter zu nutzen!

Zum Scam fehlt BitPay nicht mehr viel. Die Rechnung läuft für 15 Minuten, was bei einer Durchschnittsblockdauer von Bitcoin von 10 Minuten aufwärts schon mal komplett unnötig ist. Statt dass man es auf 30 Minuten setzt riskiert man lieber dass die meisten Transaktionen ablaufen und die Kunden ihr Geld verlieren. Fordert man nämlich das Geld zurück, bekommt man nicht mal ein Drittel davon. Letzteres begründen sie mit Netzwerkgebühren, die man vorher jedoch doppelt bereits gezahlt hat. Ich habe jetzt 10 mal versucht Geld zu senden via BitPay, 2 mal hat es geklappt, trotzdem sammeln sie schön das Geld ihrer Kunden ein ohne was zu verändern. Wirklich mit Abstand der beschissenste Bezahlservice den man finden kann.

Bitpay is a scam in my view. Endless customer support calls with no resolution. They take your money and run. Stay away from them.

Horrible company. Just horrible. If you value your money and your sanity... STAY AWAY !!! Reason for this Bad Review: For many transactions, BitPay will refuse to send the funds to the destination (the merchant), for whatever reason. And, instead of sending the Bitcoin immediately back to the sender, BitPay will keep possession of the funds for an inexcusably long time (days or weeks). During this time, the rightful owner of the funds (the sender) is disconnected from their money while also carrying the currency risk against their will. If you value your money and your sanity...STAY AWAY!!!

have been weeks trying to get a card, I have invested so much time I don't want to give up. I have come to part to upload Proof of address. I tried 5 docs over 50 times, it saves the doc but does not upload to system, I even left it overnight, no joy... Even sent doc to customer support, whihc was a horrible experience. Different person each time, totally clueless, then some guy replies saying, I should upload the proof of address and marks the case "solved and closed"... Totally frustrating...
