Equipment is excellent and suffices for my needs. James was very helpful when I had questions or concerns. I had 3 damaged floor tiles that I took pictures of and he had them processed for replacement. The third party delivery systems seems to be an ongoing issue for people so not sure about what can be done about preventing damaged equipment and such.

Website has a banner at the top of the site that reads; '1 - 4 days delivery', scrolling down there's another area with large text that reads; 'FREE SAME DAY SHIPPING Enjoy free express shipping on all orders. We ship orders every business day before 12PM. Order now to receive it the same week.' There's no indication on the site whether or not items are in stock. I placed an order on the morning of 4/19/2026, funds immediately are disbursed from my account. Shipping was $400. I hear nothing about my order until I reach out to them via email on the evening of 4/21/2026. They respond the next day; 'We are so sorry for the inconvenience, but the expected ship date for your 80" Squat Rack and Iron Plates that are part of your bundle has been pushed back to mid-May. Unfortunately, the sets that arrived at our warehouse weren't enough to accommodate some of the orders. Although we try to keep our website ETAs as accurate as possible, there are rare occasions when these are pushed back due to high demand.' I don't mind waiting for my items, but given what I've read about this company I don't trust them to deliver by "mid-May" so I requested a refund this morning (4/23/2026). We'll see how long it takes to receive my money back. A company with strong communication skills would have immediately reached out to let me know they don't have the items in stock and there would be a delay. They'd also offer to immediately refund my order if I don't want to wait. Everything about this experience with Better Body has been a red flag.

Hi Ernest, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience—we understand your concerns and sincerely apologize for the frustration this has caused. You’re absolutely right that we should have communicated the delay proactively. While we do our best to keep inventory and shipping timelines accurate on the website, there are occasions where high demand can outpace incoming stock, and in this case, we fell short in keeping you informed in a timely manner. We also understand how the messaging on our site could feel misleading in this situation. The “1–4 day delivery” and “same day shipping” apply to in-stock items, and we recognize that this was not made clear enough for your order. That’s something we are actively working to improve, so expectations are set more accurately moving forward. Regarding your refund, once it has been processed on our end, it typically takes several business days for the funds to reflect, depending on your payment provider. That said, your request has been noted, and we’re prioritizing it to ensure it’s completed as quickly as possible. We truly regret that this experience has impacted your trust in us. Your feedback is important, and we’re taking it seriously as we continue to improve both our communication and inventory transparency. If there’s anything further we can assist with, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Best regards, Better Body Team
I ordered the 5-100lbs set of Hex Dumbbells with 2 racks. A 3rd party freight delivery company delivered only 2 pallets with 2 weight racks & 5-75lbs dumbbell set but was missing the 80-100lbs. James from Better Body customer service contacted me the same day I notified them about the missing sets of dumbbells. He was able to check the tracking of the package & contacted the 3rd party delivery services & was able to locate the 3rd missing package & prioritized the missing pallet. Less than 3 days (over the weekend) it came on Monday morning. He was very transparent & emailed me the messages he had with the delivery company & updated me in the entire process. He was also very patient & professional. If I could give a 6 or 7 star for the customer service I would. Thank you James and thank you Better Body.

Hi Yao, Thank you for sharing your experience—we truly appreciate you taking the time to leave such a detailed review. We sincerely apologize for the initial issue with the missing pallet, but we’re very glad we were able to locate it quickly and have it delivered to you without further delay. While situations like this can occasionally happen with third-party freight carriers, we always aim to act fast, stay transparent, and keep our customers fully informed every step of the way. Your kind words about the support you received mean a lot to us. We’ll be sure to pass along your feedback to James—he’ll really appreciate it. Thank you again for your patience and for choosing Better Body. We’re always here if you need anything in the future. — The BetterBody Team 💪
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! ORDER NO RECIEVED AFTER SEVERAL WEEKS, WAS TOLD THEY HAD NO ETA ON THE SHIPMENT. I CANCELLED THE ORDER AND 15 DAYS LATER I STILL DO NOT HAVE MY REFUND. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Hi Joe, We’re really sorry to hear about your experience—this is not the level of service we aim to provide. Delays like this are frustrating, especially when there’s no clear ETA, and we understand your decision to cancel. Regarding your refund, once a cancellation is processed on our end, it can take several business days for the funds to be returned depending on your bank or payment provider. That said, 15 days is longer than expected, and we’d like to look into this right away. Please reach out to our support team with your order details so we can check the status of your refund and make sure this is resolved as quickly as possible. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and hope to make this right. — The BetterBody Team 💪

I have ordered things over $6K from them, and then I placed an order for something which was about $40 +$10 shipping. They reached out to me later after a few days that they had a hiccup and will need to charge me $12 more for shipping. Shows how much they don't care about their customer's experience and not own their own mistakes rather push it down to the customer. Yeah, $20 shipping for a $40 item doesn't sound right. I won't be ordering from them anymore. :)

Hi Sivcan, We’re genuinely sorry for this experience and appreciate you bringing it to our attention. After reviewing the situation internally, we acknowledge that the additional $12 shipping charge should not have been passed on to you. This was an internal handling error, and we failed to properly consider your long-standing support and purchase history with us. That’s on us. The matter has since been escalated to management, and the $12 fee has been fully refunded. We’ve also taken steps internally to address this gap in our process to ensure similar situations are handled more appropriately moving forward. While we regret that it reached this point, we do appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve. We value every customer and are committed to doing better. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to make this right. — The Better Body Equipment Team
