BBB RIP
for decades the BBB has been a valuable resource for consumers and businesses alike. then they changed their LOGO and with their rebranding came the end of the BBB. it was sudden, and brutal, in an instant the entire organization was WIPED OUT and a new logo plastered all over their website just to make sure you knew the organization had been seized by the enemy. in the recent past the BBB remained a helpful resource run by real people who did their best to cut through the red tape and helped consumers avoid lawsuits and reach real people to resolve issues. some of the BBB offices were better than others. in fact, some of the offices were so well run it was really astounding, with personal emails sent in regards to complaints by senior managers at the BBB who were petitioning on your behalf. it was an amazing American institution and very well run. today, it is simply an empty shell of a once great organization. if there are good people still working there you can’t reach them, or get past their “new and improved” identity STONEWALLING systems ala SCAM. so now that the BBB is a thing of the past, you can simply send an “agent of service” for that corporation a demand letter. if they do not respond, you can file a lawsuit with a fee waiver if you cannot afford the court fees. if you personally serve that letter on the CEO, even if it is eBay, they will probably resolve your issue and respond. the BBB used to be a great option to avoid that as a first step, but now that they are gone forge ahead. RIP BBB
