I ordered a bag on June 20. On June 22, Baginnings informed me that my bag was sold out. They. gave me a choice of ordering another bag or receiving a refund. I chose a refund. It is now July 24th and Baginnings has still not refunded my account despite many emails requesting my refund. Terrible customer service. I had to open a dispute with American Express in order to receive my refund. This is a terrible company.

Hi Julie, Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention, and we sincerely apologize for the frustration you've experienced. After you placed your order in June, we reached out to inform you that the item was unfortunately out of stock, and we offered you the choice of a replacement or a refund. You selected the refund, and we immediately initiated the process on our end. When you later contacted us to let us know you had not yet received the refund, we escalated your case to our finance department for further review and reprocessing. We can confirm that the refund has been reissued on our side. Please note that once a refund is initiated, the time it takes to appear in your account depends on your bank or credit card issuer's internal processing procedures. Since you paid by credit card, this delay is part of the standard banking process, which is unfortunately outside of our direct control. We kindly ask for your patience during this period, and we want to assure you that we have followed up with our finance team to ensure everything has been properly handled. We truly value your feedback and are actively working to improve our communication and fulfillment processes to prevent similar issues in the future. If you have any further questions or need assistance tracking the refund, please don't hesitate to reply to this email — we are here to help. With warm gratitude, The Baginning Team
Bag arrived in great condition, no weird smell, packaged great. Only downside is the shipping time, it took a few weeks. I will order more.

I received my bag today. It was packed very well. The quality of the bag far exceeded my expectations. It was better than some of my high-end bags. My only complaint is the color. It was advertised as light blue, it is teal. I did not like the color at all.

Hello! Thank you so much for taking the time to share your honest thoughts with us. We're truly delighted to hear that the quality of your bag far exceeded your expectations — and even surpassed some of your high-end bags! That means a great deal to us. We also deeply appreciate your feedback regarding the color. We understand how important it is for the actual shade to match what is shown online, and we sincerely apologize if the color appeared differently in person. Your input is incredibly valuable, and we will review our product imagery and descriptions to ensure they are as accurate as possible. We truly value your support and hope to have the opportunity to bring you a bag that you'll love in every way. With warm gratitude, The Baginning Team
I ordered from this store for the first time and was nervous. But the bag arrived, very good quality, genuine leather. The store is fantastic, and I can recommend it to everyone.
