Founded by actress and animal activist Katherine Heigl, we create products made with some of the healthiest foods on Earth — like premium, hearty beef from suppliers who care about the humane treatment of animals, as well as hand-selected superfoods for canine health. We also make it a priority to employ safe, responsible cooking practices by slow-cooking and air-drying our dog food to ensure maximum freshness and nutritional content. It’s all the good stuff your dog needs to thrive, with none of the bad. Named for her ranch in Utah where the Heigl Family rescues animals, Badlands Ranch stands for treating every dog with love and respect. That’s why it is a proud sponsor of the Jason Debus Heigl Foundation and its rescue efforts, medical care, obedience training, and placement of dogs in happy, loving homes. With every purchase of a Badlands Ranch product, you’re not just helping your dog achieve a healthier life… you’re helping another dog in need find a forever home.

We originally ordered Badlands Ranch Superfood for our two year old pup Rosie who absolutely loved it from day one. The remarkable part of our story is my mom’s 14 year old yorkie visiting us. She has never eaten any food consistently for more than a few days. She also has kidney disease. She not only loves this food but also has completely stopped having accidents in the house. Our vet is very impressed with this food!! We can’t say enough wonderful things about Badlands food. It’s also easy to store and so comforting knowing that our babies are getting all the nutrition they need.

These treats are light and crispy, like eating Layes Poppables, but made for dogs. The treats are really tiny bites that leave your dog's breath smelling like fish for a short while. Honestly, the treats are really tiny bites that he just can't have 1, I have to feed him at least 2 or 3 treats to satisfy him. My medium size dog is 36lbs and he prefers bigger treats, but he will sniff and work for the Badlands Ranch treats every time.

My dogs are excited with anticipation when I make their meals. Though I only give them a heaping spoonful of Badlands, they absolutely cannot wait to eat! I'm very happy with this product because the dogs are happy and being nourished.

My dog is loving the beef liver treats!! She has a very sensitive stomach and it’s been challenging to find treats that don’t cause very loose stools; and these do not. I love that there’s only one ingredient.

My dogs love the food and their BMs look healthy - my older dog fights seasonal allergies and I fell she is processing her meds better on Badlands.
