Founded by actress and animal activist Katherine Heigl, we create products made with some of the healthiest foods on Earth — like premium, hearty beef from suppliers who care about the humane treatment of animals, as well as hand-selected superfoods for canine health. We also make it a priority to employ safe, responsible cooking practices by slow-cooking and air-drying our dog food to ensure maximum freshness and nutritional content. It’s all the good stuff your dog needs to thrive, with none of the bad. Named for her ranch in Utah where the Heigl Family rescues animals, Badlands Ranch stands for treating every dog with love and respect. That’s why it is a proud sponsor of the Jason Debus Heigl Foundation and its rescue efforts, medical care, obedience training, and placement of dogs in happy, loving homes. With every purchase of a Badlands Ranch product, you’re not just helping your dog achieve a healthier life… you’re helping another dog in need find a forever home.

My dog, Connor is acting like a puppy again! I rescued him 9 years ago when he was 7 months old and very sick. I wish I had known about this superfood then but now he jumps around and wants to play. It’s amazing! I used to have to invite him over up his bowl to eat and now he comes running !!! I’m hooked

I have just recently started switching my dog Mya over to a Badlands Ranch diet. I ordered the beef food, the beef liver treats, and the super 20. I may add the gut health mixture next. Especially if i continue having such positive experiences with the products. My girl has always been an extremely picky eater, So to find a food she clearly enjoys is a much welcomed experience ! The beef liver treats hardly even hit the bowl or eating area and Mya is waiting to gobble them up.

My dog Copper has got back his appetite by eating the Badlands dog food. The beef liver and probiotics have helped his skin. Before he was constantly scratching himself and it seems like that problem is abating.

Lucy and Ginger love the first bag of superfood. Right now I use the kibble for treats for good behavior. I have used it to top off the kibble they do not like. They are picky doodles.

Nothing short of a miracle! My 8 year old black lab, Max, was limping, having trouble getting into the truck, and sometimes his back legs would shake. A couple of days after giving him the beef dog food, he stopped all that. I started out giving him 100% badlands food then started mixing more and more of his old dog food and roasted chicken into the mix. He still seems pain free. He's more like the active guy I'm used to. It's been about a month since he started eating badlands and I've even noticed that his coat is shiner and not flaky. I have the same problems that my Max was having. Do you make this for old humans too!?

This is a fantastic dog food! A friend recommended it to me because it had worked miracles on her senior dog and lo and behold, I had the same experience. Her fur is returning and is smooth and glossy and she's not nearly as gassy.

After only a month, Bubba’s coat is shinier. He has more energy and loves his food. I’m happy to see him happy!

My Beagle, Charlie loves the Salmon bites. I feel good giving him a healthy treat. When you open the bag it smells like salmon and that is the only ingredient. Will keep buying it.
