Founded by actress and animal activist Katherine Heigl, we create products made with some of the healthiest foods on Earth — like premium, hearty beef from suppliers who care about the humane treatment of animals, as well as hand-selected superfoods for canine health. We also make it a priority to employ safe, responsible cooking practices by slow-cooking and air-drying our dog food to ensure maximum freshness and nutritional content. It’s all the good stuff your dog needs to thrive, with none of the bad. Named for her ranch in Utah where the Heigl Family rescues animals, Badlands Ranch stands for treating every dog with love and respect. That’s why it is a proud sponsor of the Jason Debus Heigl Foundation and its rescue efforts, medical care, obedience training, and placement of dogs in happy, loving homes. With every purchase of a Badlands Ranch product, you’re not just helping your dog achieve a healthier life… you’re helping another dog in need find a forever home.

We are changing her food from Primal raw frozen to Badlands Ranch and really like how she loves it and it is so much easier. Her poops are still small and regular and she has lots of energy. Our dog is a 3 1/2 year Portuguese water dog.

You were right. My puppy LOVES the food. However, she eats with such vigor that she's not digesting it before she throws it up an hour later. It's so delicious, she tries to eat it for a second time. So now I give her my home made food and sprinkle a little of Badlands on top of it.

I just adopted another shelter dog and he loves it. I use it for his training and for a topper on all their meals. They all absolutely love the food. I have large dogs so a small bag is gone in a day.

My Shih-Tzu puppie is a very picky eater. She turns her nose up at most brands I’ve tried This is the first one she actually seems to like.

My dog had the most horrible breath. His teeth were fine and I couldn’t find the source of the smell. After only a week of this food as a topper the smell went away completely which led me to believe it was coming from his guts. This food is amazing. He's a completely different dog with tons of energy. I definitely recommend this food.

Our two dogs have absolutely loved the product. I mix in a tad with their dry kibble, they actually beg to have it. Our lazy 5 yo husky is all of a sudden frisky and playful, not a grump! Our Rhodesian is happy! Their poo doesn't stink! I have referred you to my friends! Love this product and what it's doing for our furbabies

My Buddy is a Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix and loves your food. I couldn't get the bag open fast enough to get the food in his dish. I tried to mix his old food with your new food and he sorted it all out to just eat your food. Definitely a success story!

I am a full time RN, and a hobby breeder of 2 different breeds. With all the negative publicity concerning multiple brands of food, I decided to give Badlands Ranch a try. As I have multiple dogs, I have been using it for a topper and not a full meal. However, just using it as a topper has already improved the shine of their coats, their energy levels and the gusto that they show when eating their meals. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who wants to provide the best for their furry family members!
