Founded by actress and animal activist Katherine Heigl, we create products made with some of the healthiest foods on Earth — like premium, hearty beef from suppliers who care about the humane treatment of animals, as well as hand-selected superfoods for canine health. We also make it a priority to employ safe, responsible cooking practices by slow-cooking and air-drying our dog food to ensure maximum freshness and nutritional content. It’s all the good stuff your dog needs to thrive, with none of the bad. Named for her ranch in Utah where the Heigl Family rescues animals, Badlands Ranch stands for treating every dog with love and respect. That’s why it is a proud sponsor of the Jason Debus Heigl Foundation and its rescue efforts, medical care, obedience training, and placement of dogs in happy, loving homes. With every purchase of a Badlands Ranch product, you’re not just helping your dog achieve a healthier life… you’re helping another dog in need find a forever home.

My dogs are LOVING the chicken flavor. I am mixing it with their previous food because it is quite expensive, I feel. My older dog, especially seems to have more energy. My younger dog has always been energetic, LOL !😆 In addition to a lower price, I also wish I could buy one larger bag instead of 3, 24 oz. bags.

Our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel simply loves her new dog food. She has been on it for 1 month now. From the start she enthusiastically cleans her bowl. Her coat is super silky and shiny. I'm very happy with the results so far.

We make our own wet food for our dogs and feed that to them in the evening and use your dry food for breakfast. They love it and I think appreciate the variety better than the old kibble we'd been giving them.

We love the new food for Emmet from Badlands Ranch. You can just look at the product to see the quality of the ingredients. Our guy gobbled it up. We only want to feed him the best and I think we've found it.

We have a 16 year old dachshund named Rivet. He injured his back a whille ago, but still gets around. We've noticed since his been eating Badlands Ranch Superfood Complete, topped with Super20, he has more energy and has a kick in his step. He's always been a happy dog, but as he's aged it seemed to have slow him down. With Bandlands Ranch food and supplement, he acts like he's a few years younger. Thank you so much! We love our little guy and want him to be active as long as possible!
