Founded by actress and animal activist Katherine Heigl, we create products made with some of the healthiest foods on Earth — like premium, hearty beef from suppliers who care about the humane treatment of animals, as well as hand-selected superfoods for canine health. We also make it a priority to employ safe, responsible cooking practices by slow-cooking and air-drying our dog food to ensure maximum freshness and nutritional content. It’s all the good stuff your dog needs to thrive, with none of the bad. Named for her ranch in Utah where the Heigl Family rescues animals, Badlands Ranch stands for treating every dog with love and respect. That’s why it is a proud sponsor of the Jason Debus Heigl Foundation and its rescue efforts, medical care, obedience training, and placement of dogs in happy, loving homes. With every purchase of a Badlands Ranch product, you’re not just helping your dog achieve a healthier life… you’re helping another dog in need find a forever home.

Cooper absolutely loves your dog food! I started mixing it in with his other dog food to save money, I cannot afford to only feed him Badlands, he is now picking it out and leaving the original dog food he has been eating for 2 years now.

Lil’ Boo has always been a picky eater. He likes something for a few weeks and then loses interest. I have not had that issue at all with Badlands. He loves it and gets very excited when I fill his bowl. He also likes to eat it as a treat, which is awesome because he doesn’t like treats. My only wish is that it came in a smaller kibble. Boo is a chihuahua and I have to chop up the food a bit for him.

My puppy loves badlands ranch as a topper and normally was not excited about food. She is very picky and I had a hard time finding something she would tolerate. She LOVES badlands ranch and I love that it’s good healthy food for her to grow and thrive!

My dog Snickers has a lot more energy since I started giving her the Badlands Ranch dog food. Her coat also looks much healthier. She seems to enjoy going out more and walking more. I am very happy that I found this new dog food - and best of all she loves the taste - I can't ask for more - I love the results!!

My puppy really likes the Badlands Ranch Superfood and eats a handful a day. She has great poops with it and lots of energy!

My picky eater Chi mix loved it and began eating better. Her coat improved as well as her 'teary run' out of her eye cleared up. She got more energy, even at age 17, wanting to play ball most of the day. She wags her tail when I get the Badlands Ranch bag out. Her recent vet check up was very good.

We are in the process of switching over, but so far Violet loves the new food. We are hoping it will help her with her itching and licking.

Stuey, my Shih-tzu, LOVED the food the first time he ate it! I could not get him to eat other food without adding other (human) food to it. He's starting to get picky again, but I'm not giving in & he eats it, with nothing added!!! I'm so glad I listen to Katherine on FB talk about the food & Badlands Ranch!
