Founded by actress and animal activist Katherine Heigl, we create products made with some of the healthiest foods on Earth — like premium, hearty beef from suppliers who care about the humane treatment of animals, as well as hand-selected superfoods for canine health. We also make it a priority to employ safe, responsible cooking practices by slow-cooking and air-drying our dog food to ensure maximum freshness and nutritional content. It’s all the good stuff your dog needs to thrive, with none of the bad. Named for her ranch in Utah where the Heigl Family rescues animals, Badlands Ranch stands for treating every dog with love and respect. That’s why it is a proud sponsor of the Jason Debus Heigl Foundation and its rescue efforts, medical care, obedience training, and placement of dogs in happy, loving homes. With every purchase of a Badlands Ranch product, you’re not just helping your dog achieve a healthier life… you’re helping another dog in need find a forever home.

Both my dogs love your products. I use the food mainly as a topper for now because of expense. They gobble it up! They also love the treats. I have two Shih tzus and they are part of the family. I want them to live as long as possible and that’s why I tried your products.

She loves them! She begs for them after doing her business! Actually, she gets a little obnoxious about them! As a matter of fact, I need to order another bag!

Aspen is a yellow lab and very active with a sensitive stomach, and always eating grass and later vomit. Often her belly would growl, and she wouldn't eat or have an appetite. Since she's been on Superfood Complete Beef Formula, she's stopped eating grass and she never has an upset stomach. Her health is my happiness. Thank you for this product!

Our dog meets us at his bowl when we pull out the bag to feed him. He never did that with his old food! In the beginning we were mixing it with the old. Guess what was usually left in the bowl? Great product! Our Marty loves it!

Opal (my beautiful 3 year old Blue Great Dane) LOVES this food. She only gets a cup twice daily with her other kibble because it is rather expensive for this old retired RN. It is EXACTLY the food I was looking for. Her GI issues are gone.
