Founded by actress and animal activist Katherine Heigl, we create products made with some of the healthiest foods on Earth — like premium, hearty beef from suppliers who care about the humane treatment of animals, as well as hand-selected superfoods for canine health. We also make it a priority to employ safe, responsible cooking practices by slow-cooking and air-drying our dog food to ensure maximum freshness and nutritional content. It’s all the good stuff your dog needs to thrive, with none of the bad. Named for her ranch in Utah where the Heigl Family rescues animals, Badlands Ranch stands for treating every dog with love and respect. That’s why it is a proud sponsor of the Jason Debus Heigl Foundation and its rescue efforts, medical care, obedience training, and placement of dogs in happy, loving homes. With every purchase of a Badlands Ranch product, you’re not just helping your dog achieve a healthier life… you’re helping another dog in need find a forever home.

My 16 year old malti-Pooh, my daughters schnauzer and my other daughter’s golden doodles absolutely love this food! I really can’t afford as much as I need for these dogs, but I sure can crush it and use it as a topper!

My pups have more energy and seem brighter. They are both labs and are over 10 yrs old. They were sluggish and slowing down more that I thought they should be given their ages. Badlands superfood had really made a difference!

Munchkin is a six year old < 6 lb Yorkie She devours her food now that I am using Superfood Complete with occasional Stella and Chewy Surf n Turf. I have had her since she was 6 weeks old. Initially I had difficulty with finding a treat she liked but about two years ago I discovered Stella and Chewy chicken heart treats. Now she is content and full of energy. She lets me know what she wants to eat by tapping the bag. Lol. She is a very discerning eater. I find the opening and closing of the Badlands brand to be trickier to open and close as compared to her treats and the Surf n turf. Other than that I am thouroughly happy with your product!

I've been using Badlands as a topper on my dogs food. She absolutely loves it! She excited every time I get the bag out. I've never her seen her love dog food this much. She is 13 years old and she deserves the best.

Ryder has been on his new food for 2 months. He loves it! He has more energy and is stepping up his agility activities. His dog walker says he runs like he is training for the Olympics. Also enjoying the newsletter. Fun and interesting. Highly recommend!

I have 2 Aruban Cunucus rescues. 5 year old Zara and our new pup Teddy, 7 months. I make their food weekly with Chicken breasts, Sweet potatoes, chicken livers and hearts and rice. Zara would throw up anything made with Beef, but tolerates BLR superfood well. I use about a 1/3 cup of BLR as a topper and also rewards for both. They love the crunchy bites. I have only been using less than a month so hard to say there is a difference. I fell really good about giving them the best food out there and your ingredients are awesome. That’s why I decided to get monthly shipment. I will follow up in a few months. Thank you again for making a fabulous food! Victoria
