Founded by actress and animal activist Katherine Heigl, we create products made with some of the healthiest foods on Earth — like premium, hearty beef from suppliers who care about the humane treatment of animals, as well as hand-selected superfoods for canine health. We also make it a priority to employ safe, responsible cooking practices by slow-cooking and air-drying our dog food to ensure maximum freshness and nutritional content. It’s all the good stuff your dog needs to thrive, with none of the bad. Named for her ranch in Utah where the Heigl Family rescues animals, Badlands Ranch stands for treating every dog with love and respect. That’s why it is a proud sponsor of the Jason Debus Heigl Foundation and its rescue efforts, medical care, obedience training, and placement of dogs in happy, loving homes. With every purchase of a Badlands Ranch product, you’re not just helping your dog achieve a healthier life… you’re helping another dog in need find a forever home.

My dogs (Pomeranian) love the food. They seem to have more energy. They definitely run to eat this food as opposed to the food I was feeding them beforehand. I add Badlands Ranch to their dry dog food AND guess what??!! They eat ALL of the Badlands and leave the other food behind.

Spanky is a rescue. I've had him almost a year and have lots of problems feeding him. I finally had him on baked chicken and canned veggies. Your food is the only food he will eat. So, its a little experience but throwing food away is worse. So I will continue to purchase your food.

I feel so much better feeding my bernese mountain dogs good quality food and they have no complaints. It even smells fresh! Although for 2 large dogs i am only able to give it for half of their total 8 cups a day food everyday but it is worth every penny!!

My dog loves them and they are healthy for her. She is 13 years old and I like to give her something that is healthy and well made.

My 14 year old mid-size pup of Shepard/Husky origin is named Maggie and she has perked up a lot since being on the food and treats. She has back leg problems that causes her restricted movement and walks. She now shows signs of wanting to run! She also hops a little like she used to do when she sees one of us after being away from the house. She would like to know if you are coming up with a jerky treat. She particularly likes chicken. She also wants to know if you have any cat food options. Thank you. We are all very pleased with this product.

My Gizmo is a very picky eater. But, this was the first time I have ever served him food and he ate it!! The other dog foods he would smell it and walk off. PLUS he is eating it still! He cleans his bowl!!!! I am very happy that he is happy! Thanks for such a great food for Gizmo!

i use Badlands Ranch Superfood as a topper for my GSD. I'm seeing changes to his coat and energy levels. I believe that when I rescued him, he was amaciated and his ribs, pelvis and spine could be seen and felt due to his time in a kill shelter. I would encourage the use of Badlands Superfood either as the main course or as a topper to enrich your dogs' diet.
