Founded by actress and animal activist Katherine Heigl, we create products made with some of the healthiest foods on Earth — like premium, hearty beef from suppliers who care about the humane treatment of animals, as well as hand-selected superfoods for canine health. We also make it a priority to employ safe, responsible cooking practices by slow-cooking and air-drying our dog food to ensure maximum freshness and nutritional content. It’s all the good stuff your dog needs to thrive, with none of the bad. Named for her ranch in Utah where the Heigl Family rescues animals, Badlands Ranch stands for treating every dog with love and respect. That’s why it is a proud sponsor of the Jason Debus Heigl Foundation and its rescue efforts, medical care, obedience training, and placement of dogs in happy, loving homes. With every purchase of a Badlands Ranch product, you’re not just helping your dog achieve a healthier life… you’re helping another dog in need find a forever home.

I am thrilled with this product! I have seen such a difference in my overweight mostly Rat Terrier! And her POOP! Once it was a gooey mess, now it is firm and perfect! She goes three times a day and I am feeding her less food than before. She was on an all chicken diet before. Now she eats her high grade kibble and I use Badlands Ranch as a topper…about a quarter cup per day….

Dogs like it. They are enjoying it after the 5th bag still. Happy to finally found a food that has applied all the research I have done and created the product I’ve been wanting for so long.

I am happy to be feeding my dog better food because I love him and care very much for his health! Because of the price, I can only afford to feed 1/3 of a portion, adding it to his current dry kibble. Gus, my dog, seems to really love the taste and I have noticed he smells less stinky. Still itching a little, but hoping he continues to improve even with the small portions he is receiving. Thank you.

Since the cost is prohibitive to give Molly JUST Badlands, I use it as a topper for her regular breakfast & dinner. She loves it!!! I am happy because I feel like I am doing something really good for my little Molly!!! Thanks for developing this special food for our dogs!!

He absolutely loves the food. He is a 63lb labradoodle so I only use it as a topper on his food. He literally drools as I'm making his meal.

My dogs love this product. I use it as a top dressing. The delivery was prompt . This is my second time ordering and will order again. Many thanks to Katherine and her family for caring so much for dogs in need and making a quality product!

My dog loves his badlands ranch food mixed in with his special food for his neuro issues. Knowing he is eating healthier and getting good nutrition makes me feel better. He eats it immediately unlike his last dog food that he would eat here and there throughout the day. Good stuff!

My Gizmo loves it. He is a Dorkie who rescued us. I love that you have different flavors to choose from. He especially loves his treats. My Giz had issues chewing at first, but I broke it up for him. It was no problem and he laps it up and looks at my husband for more. Since he is part Yorkie, he has bad teeth. We have had to have around 10 teeth pulled since we got him. We will do anything to help him, his health, and longevity. Thank you for caring enough to help our furbabies. I will continue giving my support. I love that my Giz loves it. ❤️
