Founded by actress and animal activist Katherine Heigl, we create products made with some of the healthiest foods on Earth — like premium, hearty beef from suppliers who care about the humane treatment of animals, as well as hand-selected superfoods for canine health. We also make it a priority to employ safe, responsible cooking practices by slow-cooking and air-drying our dog food to ensure maximum freshness and nutritional content. It’s all the good stuff your dog needs to thrive, with none of the bad. Named for her ranch in Utah where the Heigl Family rescues animals, Badlands Ranch stands for treating every dog with love and respect. That’s why it is a proud sponsor of the Jason Debus Heigl Foundation and its rescue efforts, medical care, obedience training, and placement of dogs in happy, loving homes. With every purchase of a Badlands Ranch product, you’re not just helping your dog achieve a healthier life… you’re helping another dog in need find a forever home.

I have 2 large dogs. I can only use this food as a topping since it’s so expensive and I am on a fixed income. However they absolutely love it and gobble it down mixed with their dry food. I hope that it will provide enough of their needed nutrition that way. Thank you for caring!!

I believe Badlands is a company who cares about animals and endeavors to make the best food for dogs. My little rescue dog, Melody, also agrees that the food is great.

I was reluctant to try something new for my pups but after reading all the info about the food, the liver treats and her philosophy I decided to try the product. My picky dogs love the super food and the liver treats and are now eating everyday as opposed to not wanting to eat because they didn’t like the food. I have happy dogs !

It was easy to order and came in a timely manner. My dog’s stomach issues have greatly improved just by using it as a topper/supplement. Super satisfied. Thank you!

I have 2 ageing over weight Chihuahas. Shes a rescue from a puppy mill and came to us at age 3 and had never touched grass. She loves to run in it now. she suffers from enlarged liver and heart. I needed a nutrient rich kibble for her diet and Superfood fills all the needs. He's younger but needs to lose weight as well and they are both doing well. they LOVE the kibble. I use it as a treat and as their meal. Thank you - youre a life saver for my sweet pups!
