I bought this online because I thought it would be cool to be able to use between Drs office visits. It has proven to be the best money I have spent during my pregnancy. I have had piece of mind ever since it arrived. In the beginning it was neat just to be able to listen to our baby's heartbeat but as time has gone on if I was ever concerned about lack of movement I use the Baby Doppler and am reassured as soon as I can hear the heartbeat. Doppler doesn't accurately show my baby's heart rate. Otherwise it works well and is easy to use. Comes with battery and gel.

It's a great device for at home use great for first time parents...although there has been times that the heartbeats per minute wouldn't show as we're hearing the heartbeat itself

I am pregnant with my second child and like last time, it took patience but I found my baby's heartbeat when I was 9 weeks along. I am fairly thin so I think that is why I have luck earlier than most but I am now 18 weeks and still use it about every other night.
