I received my Atom hearing aids and only one bud works. The other one simply doesn't work even after a full charge. Luckily the bud that works helps me with my hearing loss partially. And the Audien online agent says he is sending me a replacement bud right away.

I decided to try an "OTC" hearing aid before going to an audiologist and the more expensive aids. I have moderate hearing loss and wanted somthing I could wear in public that would help me better hear conversations - always missing some part of what's being said. Technically, these (the Audien Atoms) did improve my hearing, but I found the sound quality too distracting. To me, the sound was flat, with no 'warmth' to it. Having no experience with more expensive aids, it may well be that all aids produce that same sound quality, but hopefully I'll find the right fit for me. As far as Audien as a company, I was able to speak to a representative via the chat feature on their website and she quickly took care of sending me a mailing label for returning the aids and was extremely nice about the situation. She did offer to upgrade the aids to the Audien Pro, but she didn't push me toward that. I've yet to mail the aids back - will be taking care of that very soon - so I haven't received a refund, but so far, the process has been very smooth. I've read lots of positive reviews for the Audien brand, so I'm sure they work for some and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend trying them since you have nothing to lose with their 45-day trial. And just a closing thought, I did try to communicate with the company via email but received no response (3 tries!), so you might want to use the chat instead; instant response with that route.

I had an issue with a pair of atom pro hearing aids that I purchased. My issue was resolved quickly. I have purchased several sets from this company and have been satisfied each time.

I have had the Audien Hearing Atom Pro hearing aids for about 2 months now. They took a little getting used to, but now I forget they are in my ears. My hearing seems natural. In a busy place the background noise is amplified somewhat, but the sounds I want to hear are still clear over the noise.

I got a pair of the Audien Atom for my dad to try out. He's been having hearing issues so I figured I'll give these a try before spending the big bucks on an audiologist visit and an expensive pair of hearing aids. It's only been a few days since he's been using them and they are working out great! He can hear me now with the TV on and I don't have to shout at him to have a conversation!

I started with the EV 1, then moved up to the Atom 1, and today ordered the Atom Pro. Each pair have been better than the one before. I can't wait for the Atom Pro to get here. Audien is a GREAT company, with GREAT value, a good website, and helpful videos on You Tube.

The hearing aids didn’t seem to want to stay in my ear! Using a bigger ear piece would that help?

THESE ARE CHEAP JUNK! They are simply AMPLIFIERS, and NOT hearing aids. They amplify EVERY NOISE, have ZERO noise dampering, and the background noise cancels out any conversation you're trying to have. DO NOT CHOOSE THESE! They make your ears sore, to the point it is PAINFUL taking the pieces of junk out of your ears at night! MOVE ON, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!
