Assurance WirelessReviews of assurancewireless.com

I am very happy with my phone and very thankful. Yeah it might not be my old S9 plus but I can call, text, watch YouTube, listen to Pandora, unlimited talk, text, data and 10gb of hot spot. Only downside is the battery doesn't last the longest but I think I can live with that. Customer service was great with helping me get my phone up and running also. One more thing, I live in the middle of nowhere and have good service.

The customer service is so poor. Most calls are routed through third world countries that don't speak English. It takes multiple calls and weeks to get anywhere. They take no responsibility for their lack of integrity,

The phone is bad. No radio. You can't even download a free app. This is what the government pays for the old people to use and no radio. Waste of tax money.

They're dishonest. My phone was stolen, Assurance lied and said they were mailing me a replacement phone just to get me off the phone. Then they dont honor what their colleagues said and hung up on me. They are unprofessional and discourteous. Their phones are garbage.

These phones are a major security issue, I cancelled my service with them the day I got the second phone which was same as the first. The phone software does not update to receive security patches, the Google Play Store was on build 17 something when the current is 26 something, the device wasn't Google Play certified and you couldn't update the Google Play store, which means you couldn't download any new apps or update the ones you have. Soon as I activated the phone, somehow I received a buncha notifications about my SNAP benefit purchases, saying the amount and the store I was at, I wish I hadn't pressed reset the moment I got bombarded by them, but I had just activated my phone and they told me to restart it, which is their fix for everything. How do they have that information??? It was loaded with so much malware and spyware with so many permissions and hidden "special permissions", that it would take days solid to deactivate, I did spend a day and a half getting nowhere and I felt so dirty and upset having service with them. The customer service was freaking weird, they sounded like they were hostages and had a gun to their heads, so crazily happy that you couldnt even get a word in edgewise through their fake carebear bs of hheehehe oh thank you Im sooo happy to assist you and hope you are having a wonderful day so far. Located in the Philippines. Meanwhile the phone is Communist China Govt spyware and used to have downright actual trojan horses, named trojan and everything. Safelink is no better, they don't even wanna give you a device at all, even if you brought your own phone last time, you try to sign up again they say you can only get 1 device, well my last device was my OWN, they dont wanna give a damn phone at all. Same crazy customer service, and probably the same level of govt tracking but assurance phones are so buggy and crazy I saw some of it very concerning.

I felt like a zoo keeper or a circus trainer when I was talking to customer service. Geese Louise. A bunch of no English speaking incompetent ppl. The worst service in the world hands down....Their CSR's put the I in ignorant. They all ride the short bus and bang their heads on the window. The End.

I am disabled. I was home without a phone or money to get one. I finally used someone's phone and called assurance. I talked to a good representative and got lifeline. I had a phone in just little over a week. It saved me and I was able to get help and contact who I needed. The phone I have is not very good but I'm thankful I got it. I don't have good service at all anymore. Sometimes I don't have service at all for the last 2 months. I don't know what has happened. I really need better service. I rely on my phone for everything. I don't go out so I have Dr app. Online. I just want to say they saved my life at a time when I needed it the most and I really thank assurance., but if my service doesn't get better I will have to find another company. I wish they would find out what the problem is. Its hard for me to change but I will have to.

Bad reps! The phone generally works ok, and it is free, so that is good. But if there is any problem, you will be transferred to a rep who doesn't speak English, and will drop the call if the problem is too complicated (happened more than once).
