The online songwriting retreat was everything I needed. A deeper dive into the tools Andrea uses and a guided co-writing session has helped me overcome much of my self doubt about being a songwriter. Now I’m cranking out the jams.

I had been somewhat aimless and random in my approach to songwriting, but this retreat has armed me with a new, solid approach. Even though I am in the very earliest stages of establishing myself as an artist, I felt that the content was well suited to participants with varied levels of expertise and experience. The opportunity to interact with other musicians (both during the retreat and afterwards via the alumni Facebook groups) is a real asset of this retreat. Would highly recommend!

A well wrought retreat lead by a qualified and kind instructor. In a few days, Andrea Stolpe crams in tons of tools, strategies and practical resources for every songwriter. Input, honesty and experience guide the interactive presentation and leaves writers with value beyond expectations.

Totally Worth it! I recommend this retreat to anyone wishing to take there passion for songwriting all the way. It not only offered tried and true techniques that I know will help you improve as a songwriter but also a plan that you can execute to take your songwriting dreams as far as you want to.

A wonderfully structured and executed set of lessons and community-building. Having based most of my songwriting since April 2020 off the free material and videos that Andrea put out on Youtube, I wanted to experience her classes and workshops first hand, and it did not disappoint! Her material and step by step approach is fantastic and will take your songwriting to a different dimension in integrity, complexity, and depth. She will then also teach you how to simplify it into a well-distilled composition that can speak to the soul. As an educator myself, Andrea is engaging, interesting, and as technical as necessary, while still keeping the complicated parts simple enough for even a beginner like myself to digest. 10 stars out of 5

Learning from Andrea is a wonderful experience as she's quite adept at taking highly-conceptual ideas and conveying them as specific examples that are actionable. Being a great songwriter is one thing, yet the ability to teach songwriting is quite another - she excels at both - her retreats are highly recommended! Andrea is an excellent instructor who is totally open and allows herself to be vulnerable; she's friendly and genuine. So refreshing... All these things combined with her warm, down-to-earth demeanor, creates personal interactions in a relaxed, comfortable setting. As a long-time record producer who never really thought of myself as a songwriter, Andrea provided insight into how I actually am more of a songwriter than I realized, and she provided awesome tips that can be utilized now and well into the future for collaborating with others to make great music together.

Andrea and her team created a wonderful experience - especially impressive in this time of covid, since they ran the entire retreat virtually. They created small group exercises using breakout rooms that helped participants really get to connect with each other. I came away from the weekend deeply inspired.

Awesome! Very positive and encouraging. Wherever you are as a songwriter, you can grow from there. I especially liked the VIP package where you got to collaborate with another writer (or 2), finish and present a song to the group. Highly recommend!
