Amotopart FairingReviews of amotopart.com

The rear master cylinder i ordered for my 02 Kawasaki ZX-6R did not fit my bike. Hoses and reservoir were smaller than OEM. I was able to eventually get a refund.

Easy to order… than appeared the fairing with logo sold out, with logo 2 weeks extra to ‘repaint’ it. After it’s painted en sent it takes more than 30 working days to be delivered. In total two months after ordering it arrived from China: it’s not an American company! Songfenjie.. and the decals are just stickers, without extra layer paint as promised: why took this three weeks extra?! Next time just buy on Aliexpress directly, saves money amd time. Not mounted yet… hopefully this will be seemless 🫣

Régulateur reçu et essayé ok ,par contre la livraison pratiquement 3 semaines c'est trop.

Ordering from the website was easy, and communication was good throughout the process. The only issue at the beginning was that my credit card company mistakenly flagged the transaction as suspicious or fraudulent, so I had trouble using my card. The biggest disappointment came after I received the fairings for my Ducati 998. They guarantee a perfect fit, but that wasn’t the case. The fairings don’t align properly, and one of the large side vents hits the battery, making it impossible to install them correctly. They offered me a 50% refund, which I appreciated. However, the credit card I used for the purchase is no longer active, and they refused to send the correct fairing or issue the refund by another method, such as a check. Unfortunately, that leaves me with a set of fairings that I can’t use. Other than that, the ordering process and communication were good, but the fitment issue and the lack of a reasonable refund solution were disappointing.

Yeah I’ve bought like 3 sets from them now, 1 more on the way as we speak. They’re all decent quality and good price. Everything fits well and the paint is good enough. The clear they use is legit and chemical/scratch resistant, but the matte is just whatever cheap paint they use with no protective clear so it scratches/melts really easily. Basically don’t buy anything matte. The only problem I had is a spot got cracked on my 21 zx6r fairings, on like a thin spot that goes by the exhaust to a bolt hole so it was a stressed area of the plastics. I just fiberglassed it back together. For $600 or whatever for a custom paint job job full set of matching fairings it’s hard to be mad at a single crack lol. Shipping and production is reasonable considering the amount of work (slow) if you don’t get one that’s ready to go in USA. I ordered a set on may 28th with a custom paint job, and they’re still on the boat over… but again, a full custom paint job and shipping into the US is fXcked rn so not fully their fault, but it does take a while so be aware. They also attempt a ‘expedited fee’ of $90, basically they’ll ask you if you want to pay $90 and the fairing will be shipped out within like 7 business days, if you don’t pay for that it’s up to 25 business days or something. As far as the screw kit it’s garbage in my experience. Just a generic Chinese aluminum screw kit. It’s not bike specific. You’ll need to get any clips/screws that are unique to your bike separately. Edit: Reading other comments I want to be clear, I’m NOT saying this is anywhere near OEM quality, it’s definitely Chinese quality and close inspection will reveal that. Theres been paint drips on some lower edges, above mentioned issue with cracking in a high stress spot, cheap paint, etc. BUT I’m my experience it worked, and I want my bike to look good in pics while it’s leaned over hauling ass, I’m personally not too concerned with 3’ away parked. If you want ‘show quality’, do not buy this you’ll be disappointed.
