Please stop calling me!! Everyday so far today Ashley had called 3 times. I don't owe anyone anything. Scam alert.

These scam calls are unrelenting. So today I just called them and said nothing. When they hung up I called back. It was hilarious to hear them yell about their time being wasted. Eventually they blocked my number.

In the year of 2025, I began filing my taxes with Turbo tax and received a message that required that I provide my AGI for the previous year in order to file my taxes for 2024 and then I was told to upload my W-2"s for the year in which I was filing for. I did not understand nor did I think anything of it even though I have filed my taxes with Turbo many times and have always been satisfied. After I submitted all of my forms, copy of my ID and ssn, my information was intercepted by these scammers working for American. I received a totally different amount that was quoted, they charged me a different rate and said that if my return was not in my account, they would not charge me the amount for filing my taxes. Not only that, but I also never received and copies of my tax returns, I am going through so much trying to file my taxes now because of them. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Nothing but criminals. They took $8500.00 from us and did NOTHING.Sitting here wondering why no one calls back.Well they have been shut down by the Federal Trade Commision.Terrance Seib and Tyler Bennett may you burn in hell

⛔ WARNING: Total Scam - $1,700 Stolen and Zero Service in 8 Months! Review Text: I am writing this review to warn others about the fraudulent practices of American Tax Service. I signed up with them for tax assistance [mention the month, e.g., 8 months ago] and paid them a total of $1,700. To date, they have provided ABSOLUTELY ZERO SERVICE. They have not filed any paperwork, provided any consultation, or delivered on any of their promises. For 8 months, their strategy has been constant delays and empty excuses. Every time I call, I get a new story: "It will be done this week," "Our specialist is unavailable," or "We're checking on it." It is clear this is a systematic scheme to take money from customers and provide nothing in return. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY WITH YOUR MONEY OR YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION. They are unscrupulous and operate in bad faith. I have kept all records of my payments and every communication. I am now taking legal action and filing formal complaints with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). Save yourself the immense frustration and financial loss. Stay far away from American Tax Service. Rating: 1 star - FRAUDULENT
