Here at Agena Astro, we are astronomers and astrophotographers just like you. Our company was founded in 2003 by avid amateur astronomer Manish Panjwani in an effort to provide quality astronomy gear coupled with top-notch customer service. Since then, Agena has grown to be a robust team with one common goal: to get more people out under the night sky.As amateur astronomers ourselves, we know the magical feeling of sitting out under the stars. But we also know how frustrating it can be when your new astro gear isn’t quite cooperating. After a long night fumbling with equipment, the last thing you want to worry about is whether or not you’ll be taken care of by the company you bought from. With a combined 150 years of experience serving the astronomy community, our team of experts always has your back. Whether it be a question about a product you’re interested in, troubleshooting gear, or a hassle-free return, you can feel confident when you choose Agena.Over our 20 years in business and helping people like you, we’ve slowly built up our reputation for being North America’s highest-rated astronomy shop.Thank you for choosing us, and clear skies!

I've been ordering from Agena for years and have nothing but good things to say really... They have a ton of gear in stock that most others dont...the shipping is ULTRA quick...and their support is very friendly and helpful. I had to return a couple items recently and they were easy to deal with. For these reasons Agena has become my go to shop for astro gear.

I’ve shopped at Agena for years, and they’re my go-to retailer, without question. Agena has top-notch customer service, great shipping options, an easy-to-navigate site, and a wide selection of products. Their staff is knowledgeable re: astronomy and astrophotography, and they’re always happy to answer any questions I have.

Thank you for the kind words, Jeffrey, we really appreciate your loyalty!
There was an issue with the product ordered, not Agenas fault or mine, and John P. in customer service stayed on top of the issue to get the issue corrected. I can't say enough good for this company as they have given me GREAT service in the past. They have a good supply on most items and shipping is fast. The staff is knowledgeable and courteous.

Thank you for choosing us and glad we were able to get your issue resolved!
I have been a customer of OPT and then Agena Astro for many years now and have never encountered any issue. The people at Agena are very knowledgeable and will help you find the best solution to your needs even if it does not necessarily mean the most spending. I have come to fully trust them because they have your satisfaction at heart. My only concern is the cost of shipping from the US to Mauritius which has called for me to bundle several items into one order to save on shipping. But, of course, this has nothing to do with their first-class service. Keep the passion going!
