USPS employee is correct that the postage cost of sending your package was about $38, including insurance. However, when you include all the dimensions L X W X H, and Weight, you get an average of $58-$60 depending on the day the carrier picks up and delivers the shipment. You can review this at the USPS website in their Retail Postage Price Calculator and selecting the package send option of: Calculate price based on Shape and Size.
