Hello Brandon, Thank you for your review. I'm sorry to hear you had a frustrating shopping experience. I wanted to address your concern about the Promise Date. Looking at your order, I see that you placed the order on 8/15/2022, you were provided a promise date to process the order and to ship this order by 8/17/2022. This order shipped from our distribution location on 8/16/2022. This order was processed and shipped ahead of our promise and shipping estimated date. From my understanding, your concern is that this order did not arrive to your location at the promise date. I want to share that ACP Composites does not promise the date of arrival, ACP Composites can only promise the date the order will be processed, packaged and shipped. If you need and require the order to arrive at your location the next day after we ship the order, you would need to select a shipping method of Next Day or Priority Overnight. Any other shipping standard methods can take anywhere between 3-5 business days and its dependent on the carriers regular transit times. I wanted to address your concern about the time it took to process your order, ship the order and your shipping method. Looking at your order, I see that you placed the order on 7/25/2022, you were provided a promise date and a estimated shipping date of 7/27/2022. You also paid for overnight shipping method. The order shipped 7/26/2022. This order was processed and shipped ahead of our promise and shipping estimated date. I want to share with you that our order processing system schedules orders in chronological order from the time the order was placed in our website. Selecting the overnight shipping method from the carrier, only applies to the delivery transit service provided by the carrier and not our order internal processing time. ACP Composites processing, packaging and scheduling carrier to pick up the package usually takes 2 business days after the order was placed. After the order has been process you will need to add shipping transit time for your order to arrive. When you selected overnight shipping method, the overnight expedite shipping only applied to the carrier. If you need and require the order to process and ship earlier than our promise date generated by our system, we are happy to help you with an expedited request after you place the order. We unfortunately are not able to provide you with a reason as to why your card was declined because the bank does not share that information with us and it would need you to give them a call if you need the reason. Usually, declined reasons include entering the wrong billing, the wrong security code, an incorrect number on the credit card or banking reasons such as insufficient funds, holds, fraud prevention, and many more but only the bank can provide you the correct information. We want to ensure that you get the most satisfaction out this product; however, the flatness of the rod is not something we control in regard to tolerance when we order from the supplier, we focus on the outer diameter tolerances and they may come with flatness differences from the supplier. If surface length, straightness and flatness is important to your application, we can explore ordering rods from a different supplier or order custom rods with length, straightness and flatness tolerance with the supplier. As we’ve explained in our emails to you, we are only able to control an order up until the point it is handed off to the shipping carrier. We can not specify how and through what cities they send our packages. To confirm the timing of your order, our records indicate that your purchase was made after business hours on 1/7/21, thus it was processed on 1/8/21. We shipped your order on 1/12/21, one day before the estimated ship date. We included in our emails to you an email from a USPS representative explaining that “Due to CVD19 and incapacitated workers our deliveries have been delayed by up to 3 weeks.” We also include this information on our website about delays due to COVID 19, to notify shoppers in advance and properly set expectations. ACP prides itself on keeping our customers informed about their orders from initial purchase to delivery.
