Hi Janet, Thank you for reaching out to provide your identifying order information. We apologize that the product you ordered moved into a backordered status after the order was placed. We see our Support team presented the option of switching to alternate colors that were in stock, but we were not able to guarantee delivery by Christmas at that time. Our Support team will reach out to you to see how we can help! Best regards, 2Modern
