Zara Tanzania AdventuresReviews of zaratours.com

I was writing a second time to Mr Erasto for the booking for our safqari in June ( 5 Persons)and I didn't get any reply from him not yet. What else can I do , as to write again? This is strange and annoyes me

Easy to deal with.

The staff Superb, rooms clean, Wifi available, we got what we expected.

I hiked solo with Zara Tours in September, 2022 and had fantastic experience. Juma, my guide was great as was the rest of the team. Everything was put in place to make sure I made it to the summit. I stayed at the Springlands Hotel in Moshi the night prior to and after the climb. I enjoyed this place as well as meeting people that had either just finished their climb or were just heading out. I also had the pleasure of meeting Zainab Ansell who founded Zara Tours in 1986. She is a very impressive person that has established several orphanages in Tanzania. She is doing a lot for her employees including paying them a salary that they can live on. Zainab is also establishing an insurance policy for her employees. Her staff at the hotel were very professional and attentive. Both the meeting at the airport and a 5 o'clock departure to get back to the airport after the climb were professionally handled. I am very impressed with all my experience with Zara Tours and recommend them warmly. Geir

We took a customized 8-day Northern Tanzania Safari. On the first day of safari we saw more animals than we were expecting to see on the entire trip! We highlighted 27 animals in our Princeton Pocket Guide and that did NOT include the birds. We visited 4 national parks and a Maasai Village. We endured many hours each day of "African Massages" in the Landcruisers. (Thank goodness for thick seat cushions). The breakfasts and dinners were delicious. It was fun to toss gifts to the children we drove past. Our guides were fantastic, the lodging was comfortable, and the memories priceless.

My group of 6 had an excellent experience with Zara Tours. We did the 6-Day Machame route. This is the four trip I have booked with Zara. Costs were reasonable and equipment, trasnportation, and hospitatity at the Springlands hotel was great. What made the trip extra special is the outstanding work of our Guides, Porter and Cooks lead my our lead guide Mr. Silvano and assistant guide Juma. There attention to detail, thorough planning, and management of the hiking pace ensure that all of our group summited successfully. Many other groups didn't prep their hikers for the pace necessary and the proper nutrition needed, and you could see them having difficulties on summit day. Lastly I wanted to express our thanks to the great staff at the Springlands hotel. Outstanding customer service, always willing to help and would go out of their way to make our stay great.

I just got back from Tanzania. I have done with you the Machame Route up Kilimanjaro for 7 days. I am writing to thank you for everything. The experience has been sensational. Since our arrival at Springland Hotel, where the staff has always been attentive, solving every last detail or problem that we might have. As for the route itself, we couldn't be happier. The whole team has been focused on us achieving our goal. All the porters with joy and dedication and the guides with exceptional professionalism. Kitambia is a "genius" always with his good advice and his experience. Ibrahim with his enthusiasm and his good work in the mountains. Thank you very much Zara tours and congratulations for the great team of professionals you have.
