We sold the house and have been living aboard full time. They understood the liveaboard situation immediately, no explaining that no, we don't have a land address, the boat IS our address. It took 5 days. Mail scanning will be the killer feature for us. It seems really easy use and the best part is we can be at anchor for weeks and still see all of our mail. Our banks and boat insurance have both accepted our new Florida address without a fuss.

I do sound for touring acts. 200+ days a year on the road, and my "residence" in Missouri was my sister's couch. Meanwhile.. Missouri taxed every dollar like i was home mowing my lawn all the time or something. Came across Your Tax Base on IG and two weeks later i was a Florida resident. The address works for my bank and my mail. Nothing about my life changed except the state tax which should be gone next year.

American living in Sydney for a few years now. Kept paying my old state's income tax the whole time because sorting it out felt like a massive hassle and there was always a beach. Friend from back home finally told me about your tax base. Did the whole thing online from here, time zones weren't really an issue, took about two weeks. Florida address works with all my US accounts. No use crying about it now, but should have handled this my first year here instead of my third.

I left New York in March and the thing I could not get a straight answer on anywhere was whether the address would actually hold up, or whether it was a mail service that institutions would flag. That was my only real question and nobody's website answered it. What actually happened: i got the address, filed the Declaration of Domicile at the county tax collector, and the DMV issues my license without a second look. My bank updated the address on file without a call. The 1583 notarization was done online in about 10 minutes. What I would flag: it is a 12 month term, so decide before you sign up, not after. And the setup is on you to actually go do, they give you the sequence and the documents but nobody drives to the DMV for you. Worth it if your problem is "I have no fixed US address anymore." If you're shopping purely on price, it isn't the cheapest thing out there.

Im American but my wife is not and overseas living has been really difficult. My CPA has told me for a long time that a good tax strategy would be to switch to a Florida domicile and with the step-by-step guidance from my CPA and also this company who even did a joint call to make sure my domicile is solid. I have had no problems yet.

Airline pilot, 23 years. I commute to my base from wheerver I live, so my state of residence has always been arbitrary. It just took me an embarrassingly long time to realize that meant I could pick one without income tax. Nebraska was taking its cut of every paycheck for no operational reason. Process with Your Tax Base was orderly: they told me exactly what documents they needed on my end, I provided them, they confirmed each step. Six days start to finish. No surprises, which is the highest compliment I give anything.
