This was an easy process and yet it created the most special memories for my husband’s birthday. It is something that will be cherished forever! The prompts were perfect to get family and friends to mention special moments and attributes of my husband that they admire. It really was such a wonderful experience/process!

Thank you for your kind words!
The process to create the memory book, send out requests for input, and compiling responses was seamless. Customer service was amazing. I had to made an edit to the finished product so I reached out to customer service for assistance and they were so courteous, accommodating, and helpful. Really enjoyed the experience. Highly recommend.

Great to hear you found the process so simple, that's exactly what we hope to hear. Thank you for sharing!
@Your Kith and Kin team created a retirement book for one of our employees. The employees submitted their pictures and kind words from their years of working with the retiree on a form provided by @Your Kith and Kin. The form is easy to use and share with others. The Kith and Kin team provide excellent customer service during the contributions and submissions of coworkers, all the way through delivery. They do not offer a phone number, and at first that concerned me, but should not have. Brittany is very responsive to all emailed questions and any help needed. This was the second book I have done this year with Your Kith and Kin and I have had the same great experience both times. Thank you, Kith and Kin! Beautiful book...so proud to give to our retiree. The first book made the retiree so happy he ordered three additional books for his family members for Christmas!

Thank you so much for this lovely review, and for trusting us with a second book this year! We're thrilled the retirement book came together so beautifully. We look forward to your next project!
I received an email response to my questions within 24 hours. And when a mistake was made in the production of my book, Kith and Kin went above and beyond to fix the problem. They refunded me the cost of the book and covered overnight shipping once the new book was ready. THIS is customer service! The book project was simple to set up, easy to customize, and very easy for friends and family to submit their contributions. The only complaint I have is that I wish there were more cover customization options. Otherwise, this was a 10/10 experience!

Thank you so much, Katie! Production errors are rare, but they do happen from time to time, and when they do, we'll always replace the book. These are keepsakes meant to be passed down, so we're not satisfied unless you end up with something you truly love. We're glad the setup and contributor experience felt easy, too. We hope to offer more cover customization options soon, it's definitely on our list. Thank you for trusting us with your special project!
Used Kith and Kin to put together a memory book with contributions from a big group of friends and family. The platform makes it really easy: you set up the project, share a link, and people add their stories and photos themselves, with an email each time someone joins or submits so you can keep track. Loads of people contributed within days and the whole thing came together with very little effort from me. A brilliant idea, really well executed. Highly recommend for a birthday or a big occasion.

Thank you! That's exactly what we hope to do - take the chasing and organizing off your plate so you can just enjoy reading what comes in. It sounds like your group really showed up. Thank you for recommending us, and we hope the book gets read and re-read for years!
good: product; concept; printing; customer service FAST followup to my emails! needs improvement: -user interface - uploading photos, editing book is hard -ability to remind contributors in app/website vs. having to ping them on teh side -ability to reopen contributor pages after they submit, vs. burden falling on editor to make changes -ability to download book as pdf to preview it pre-printing, to proof it

Thank you so much for the detailed feedback, we do appreciate it! On reminders - we do send up to 3 automatic reminder emails to anyone who registers to contribute, but we've found a personal nudge from the project creator is what usually gets people to finish. Building a way to do that from inside the app is actually something that we're working on now, so we're glad to see this will be helpful. Two of the things you mentioned we do actually offer, which means we maybe haven't made them easy enough to find. You can reopen a contributor's page after they submit - there's a button that reverts their entry to draft so they can log back in and revise it themselves, rather than the work falling to you. And at checkout there's a full print preview that shows every page exactly as it will appear in the printed book. We don't offer a PDF download by default because the files are big enough to take several minutes to pull down. But, if anyone would rather proof it that way, you can email us and we'll send it over. Thank you again for the detailed feedback, and for the kind words about the printing and our team.
