YANGAROO incReviews of yangaroo.com

I've had a positive experience using Yangaroo Music overall. The platform has helped me get my music in front of radio programmers across Canada, and I've seen tangible results, including charting, increased downloads, and more streams. The team has always been responsive, helpful, and willing to offer advice on how to get the most out of a campaign. My only real wish is that there was more direct feedback from radio programmers. As an independent artist, a lot of the process can feel like guesswork, and it's hard to know why a song was or wasn't picked up. That said, I realize that's more of an industry-wide challenge than something Yangaroo controls. Overall, I'd definitely recommend Yangaroo to independent artists looking to get their music in front of radio.

Working with Yangaroo Canada and Jonathan in particular has been tremendous. As an indie artist to have this level of support and consultation in addition to being in control of DMDS was really helpful. Most importantly, Jonathan has a true passion for his work and desire to help independent artists. This came through in great advice, putting together the best release possible, and effectively meeting all timelines that were put in place. You can't control who plays your stuff, but you can control how you put it out there to give the best chance. I would highly recommend Yangaroo and Jonathan for that. It's been a pleasure and I will be using them again.

I have used Yangaroo for several of my recent releases and have been pleased with the results. I was initially introduced to Yangaroo by another artist and a former music director at a major radio station, who recommended it as the best way to distribute my music. As an independent artist, it can be challenging to get your music in front of radio station music directors, so I am grateful that my tracks are now landing in their inboxes. Overall, I am satisfied with my experience, particularly with the excellent customer service. I plan to use this service again for my next release.

Used Yangaroo with multiple record and was so pleased. As an indie artist it’s hard to break through certain barriers. They really helped facilitate to get my song on multiple radio stations. I have used them for multiple songs and I am excited to continue working with them. They have really allowed me to be seen from a whole new audience.

Like many others here, my experience with this company was horrible. I hate people like this, that play on peoples honest hopes and dreams. They were dishonest. I Was set for distribution, they kept making excuses, trying to get more money out of me.I did every thing on my own to correct the problem with my video format. They still insisted it wasn't correct. Why? FOR MORE MONEY!! PITIFUL COMPANY!!! This actually occurred during 10/21. I couldn't go back that far with the TP calendar.

I had an amazing experience with Yangaroo Music. Their service was top-notch, and I was thrilled to see my music land in a couple of great spots. Not only did I secure an interview, but I also got my songs into some bars and some big box stores across Canada! A special thanks to Jonathan especially for his exceptional support. He clearly outlined what to expect as an indie artist navigating radio, and his guidance on the best options available was absolutely invaluable! Highly recommend Yangaroo Music for any artist looking to elevate their reach! Kamii

Shame on me for not reading the reviews of this company before engaging in business with them. After I submitted my order for my music video, only then was I notified that it was up to me to follow up with their “vendors”. Still a month after the release of my song, I have received zero feedback of either acceptance or rejection. I have called multiple times and was told they were looking into it. Shame on them, shame on me. I’ve been taken in.

This company pretends to offer radio promotion for independent artist and then sends you a report filled with zeros next to each radio station. When asked about the report they blame you for being an independent artist saying unless you are a record label, radio stations don’t listen. But have zero problems taking 300 dollars knowing beforehand that you will absolutely get nothing from their service.
