Turning Moments into Masterpieces, One Child at a TimeAt Wyrd Story, we create personalized art history books that transform a single photo of your child or grandchild into 14 stunning museum-style portraits. Each book pairs your little one with the world's greatest masterpieces—from the Mona Lisa to Starry Night—creating a timeless keepsake that families treasure for generations. The Story Behind Wyrd StoryI'm David, the founder, and I started Wyrd Story because I saw a gap in the world of meaningful gifts. Grandparents told me they were tired of giving toys that would be forgotten in weeks. Parents wanted something educational that didn't involve a screen. Everyone was searching for that one gift that would actually matter. That's when I combined my love of art history with modern technology to create something truly special: a personalized journey through the masters, where your child becomes part of art history itself. What Makes Us DifferentUnlike fully automated services, every Wyrd Story book is handcrafted with care. I personally review and perfect each portrait to ensure your child's unique likeness shines through. If a detail isn't quite right—whether it's the eyes, the smile, or the overall expression—I fix it by hand. It has to be perfect, or we start over. That's my promise to you.We only need one photo. In about a minute, you'll have created something that will be passed around at family gatherings, lingered over by guests, and cherished as the child grows up.More Than Just a BookParents and grandparents tell us the same thing: "It was the hit of the day." "Everyone kept passing it around." "My son said his heart stopped when he saw it."These aren't just reviews—they're the moments that make what we do meaningful. When a child opens their book and gasps, "That's ME!"—that's the magic we're after.Wyrd Story isn't a toy that gets tossed aside. It's a museum-quality heirloom that introduces children to fine art while celebrating their own unique personality.

An original and beautiful book. Great quality! Good idea for a gift!

Nessy — thank you so much. “Original and beautiful” is exactly what we hope each book feels like. We spend a lot of time obsessing over the print quality and the details, so it means a lot to hear that came through. I’m really grateful you saw it as a special gift — that’s the heart of what we’re building. — David
First of all the book was quality . The communication with David was great and I felt like he was attached to his work and the satisfaction mattered to him.

Tamera — thank you so much for this. It truly means a lot to hear that you felt the care behind it. I’m very attached to each book we create, and knowing that the communication and the final result reflected that makes all the long hours worth it. I’m grateful you trusted us with something so personal. — David
I've now ordered two different books. One was for an 80th birthday present and the second for a fifth birthday. Both were huge hits! The five year old kept repeating "That's me!" while her father explained the accompanying art. I love that she'll grow up knowing about so many different artists. The 80 year old friend howled with enthusiasm on every single page. The company worked with me throughout the entire process to be sure that each book was truly personalized. I'm already making plans for THREE more gift books. No question about it, this is THE gift of the year.

Amy — this absolutely made our day. Hearing that it delighted both an 80-year-old and a five-year-old is exactly why we created these books in the first place. The image of her saying “That’s me!” while discovering great artists… that’s the magic we hope for. Thank you for trusting us with such meaningful gifts — and we can’t wait to hear how the next 3 are received. Truly grateful, David
