I'm generally very pleased with WP-Cerber, especially for its easy setup and reliable work. What I like the most is that I can sort the users of my blog by registration and last login and also have the ability to review a user's login activities. I am reviewing the free version here, not the paid-for version, though.

It is so good at keeping your site protected you might find yourself locked out too! All too often i need to disable the plugin, delete it and its configuration and then download it fresh from the website and import the configuration... It can be boring but in terms of comprehensive protection at no cost it is the best and has been for many years. Keep going Gregory!

Wow. Thank you for the help identifying Login issues; Suspicious activity; IP blocked Users; and Non-authenticated users. It's comforting to add their IP addresses to the Blacklist. A few questions: If there is only one administrator user can all other reported IPs be added to the Blacklist automatically? Is this Blacklist used by any external Blacklist servers? What does the Blacklist do? The IPs seem to keep coming even though they are marked as Blacklisted. Is there any functional difference if the IPs were in the CPanel IP Blocker? If so, can the Access List be exported from this Plug-In and then imported into the CPanel IP Blocker?

Cerber is absolutely amazing when it comes to site protection. I'm a small, non-coding site builder and use it on all of my WordPress sites. Also worth mentioning that I use the DIVI theme exclusively on all of my sites. The only "flaw" Cerber has is that sometimes an update, site change or just chance will accidentally lock me out of a site (this is rare). Since I'm reasonably technically savvy I can get back in within a few minutes as long as I have FTP access to the site. Because of this I'm not sure I would recommend Cerber for a person with low technical skills because you might end up locked out without knowing how to get back in, but if you know how to use FTP to access and modify your site files.. what are you waiting for?!

For most uses it works reasonably well especially not blocking humans on accident. But it was allowing hundreds of spam form submissions a day and only solution it offered was Google CAPTCHA would have meant that we were giving our users ips - and other data because CAPTCHA v3 uses the metadata Google has on the user to determine if its a bot or not. Why not just have a pretrained BERT model classify submissions as spam or not - it would be easy for us because we ask for a protonmail or other E2E email so separating the humans and bots would be easy.

I have used WP Cerber on all my Wordpress installs. I have tried another more popular security plug-in, but returned quickly to Cerber.
