Wild Idea Buffalo is unlike any other meat company. We began with a vision of actually improving the eco-system of the Great Plains. Our buffalo are raised on the wide open spaces of South Dakota where they eat only the native grasses beneath their feet. They spend their whole lives roaming freely on thousands of acres, and never see a feedlot or slaughterhouse. The result is better lives for the bison, the restoration of over 100,000 acres of the prairie, and sweet, delicious red meat that is actually good for you. Not such a wild idea after all!

so far very pleased. packaging came through after four days en route 90 percent frozen which was just fine. love the ground beef and rib eye's, wasn't enamored as much with the n.y.'s. stlll have tongue, heart, oxtails, and ribs to sample and am very excited to do so. great, friendly customer service as well. thank you wild idea.

I buy the 8 oz. filets and they are wonderful. My husband and I split it to offset the cost; but, its a treat once every other week or so. Reminder: don't over cook!

must admit I've only cooked one steak for myself. I was delicious and tender because I read the little flyer that came with my order and marinated it for a while and pan fried it. It was very filling and fed me for 2 meals. I like the assortment of items I got and will order again! The order came when promised and was frozen solid so I put it all in the freezer. Very handy. I have delayed in writing a review until I worked my way through the things I ordered from Wild Idea. Having had bison from a number of sources, I can honestly say that this is the best tasting bison I have ever had. It tastes wonderful! I ordered the corned bison, brats, and burgers -- I will be ordering again. Shipping was a breeze -- things arrived quickly and without hassles. Thanks Wild Idea for a great idea!

We ordered the ground buffalo and chuck roast. The roast was lean, super tender, and tasty! We made some buffalo burgers and they were fantastic!

I've eaten the ground bison and the stew meat so far, and both are excellent. I'm looking forward to trying the chuck roast and sausage from my recent order - which arrived promptly and expertly packed. It's nice to be able to enjoy red meat that is sustainably raised and humanely harvested. Thank you, Wild Idea!
