Wild Idea Buffalo is unlike any other meat company. We began with a vision of actually improving the eco-system of the Great Plains. Our buffalo are raised on the wide open spaces of South Dakota where they eat only the native grasses beneath their feet. They spend their whole lives roaming freely on thousands of acres, and never see a feedlot or slaughterhouse. The result is better lives for the bison, the restoration of over 100,000 acres of the prairie, and sweet, delicious red meat that is actually good for you. Not such a wild idea after all!

I haven't eaten "red meat", oh I'd say in about 2 years. What made me curious about Buffalo meat is how lean it was described as. Once it arrived, the delivery date was changed 3x's, thats not so bad, I must say that I was very aches to receive the buffalo products and I have never order food this way by mail. So bottom line is that the meat was UNBELIEVABLY GOOD!

I don't order a lot of things online. I am a little old fashion and like to go to the store. However, I can rarely find quality buffalo cuts even at our most expensive supermarkets... and we have a lot of them around me. With that, ordering from Wild Idea Buffalo is easy and they always get my order right! Not to mention... you can't beat the quality and taste.

I have been buying from you for many years. You reliably deliver a great meat product in a very short period. We live in Phoenix, and sometimes the meat is slightly thawed -- you should ALWAYS use dry ice when sending items here. The hot dogs are surprisingly good, especially since I don't normally like hot dogs. They are very mild and are good cut up in sautéed vegetable dishes and casseroles. Our favorite roast is the chuck; and we use the old beer recipe. We use a lot of hamburger; it is great as a simple hamburger sandwich, but it is fabulous in a meatloaf and casseroles since there is less fat and more flavor than beef hamburger. Large quantities of garlic cause me mouth sores and upset stomach, so I can't eat much of your meat mixes (like sausage) due to the high garlic content.

We live in Rapid City and regularly shop from Wild Idea Buffalo for most of our meat needs. This time, we sent a gift to a relative in another state, who has enjoyed some of the Wild Idea Buffalo products in the past. Online ordering process was smooth, delivery speedy, and the gift recipient said this was the best gift she could have hoped to receive.

I read about WIBC in the newspaper, and was drawn to their story so decided to try it. I ordered the starter pack; it arrived as described, frozen, packed well, with everything exactly as promised. I used a sirloin last night to make a buffalo stroganoff, and it was excellent. I highly recommend Wild Idea Buffalo to everyone.

The meat from Wild Idea is so delicious!! The packaging is very good and always is received still frozen and in great shape. The value is very good as they keep their prices reasonable while offering the highest quality product. We buy this bison because it is 100% grass fed and treated humanely, including field harvesting. This is a very important issue to us. Thanks Wild Idea for your hard work and determination to take care of these animals properly and to feed us humans excellently.
