“Warranty not what you’d expect from a premium tool brand.” I purchased a Wiha 320 flathead screwdriver years ago, expecting the “lifetime warranty” to mean the company would stand behind their product like other professional tool brands. When the blade became worn after years of normal industrial use, I reached out to Wiha for a warranty claim. Their response was that the tool had reached the end of its “lifetime,” and therefore the warranty no longer applied. That essentially means once the tool wears out — even under normal use — the warranty ends. For a company that markets itself as premium, this was disappointing. Other tool manufacturers have been far more supportive in similar situations. This experience makes me rethink investing in Wiha products in the future.
